cara: Mark and Lexie "icky" and you like mark with addison? You are out of what is left of your mind. Addison was just like mark was when they met and 2 cheaters together never works. Lexie is perfect and their chemistry is out of this world. Being opposites is what makes them fit so well and if you don't think so, well . . . . . .

If Meredith leaves the show, it can still be Grey's Anatomy...Lexi is a Grey,too! It wouldn't be the same with out Mer-Der, but everything in live changes, so why not this show too?

season 8 cannot be the last one with everyone. Izzy needs to come back and her and alex need to be back together! Christina needs to keep the baby and it be a Bailey story all over again. mer and der must stay together and be in this for a long time they cant leave the show everyone in it now its all coming together properly now since the merger! it cant end yet... fans will not be happy about that.

I agree with Laura123. If season 8 is the final (and as much as I hate to say, I think it should be- they're running out of story-lines), they should bring back old characters and end it properly. Obviously Mer/Der, Lexie/Mark, and Alex/Izzy. As for Christina, I'm not sure. I don't like Owen, never have. Not too cared about April and Avery - they aren't original characters. Bailey should stay with Eli. I liked Burke, but I didn't like how Christina changed for him, so I'm not sure. I think she is better on her own.

How can greys anatomy continue without meredith??? Its GREYS anatomy because of Meredith GREY so if mer goes the show will probably END!!

I would love the idea of seeing the show centre around a new set of interns.
Have the old cast but in the background and follow a new set as they go threw the years, of course this being after all the old fav's became attendings and everything.

Ok, Leah- you made a good point on what you said about abortion, but that is your opinion, just like Shonda stated hers. Everybody is allowed to an opinion but Troy, though your pregnancy statistics may be correct, your Blasphemy is inappropriate, insulting and should not be posted on this or any other blog.
This is about Grey's Anatomy, an amazing TV SHOW..dont forget that.

Leah, you do realize that 30-40% of all pregnancies end in miscarriage before the woman is even aware she is pregnant and that an additional 10-15% of recognized pregnancies end in miscarriage, right? Sounds like your perfect God is doing a real bang up job.

Being that Merideth has always been so giving (eg:giving izzy and alex her wedding) I think it would be amazing if Christina gave merideth her baby!!!

Wow. What a contradiction! Every woman has her "God-given" right? God never gave ANY woman the "right" to choose life and death. He is in the business of determining life, hence pregnancy. Since when is the human right to end a life "God-given"? It isn't. Otherwise, God would not have "given" life in the first place. Abortion is the misguided choice of an imperfect human, not an action by a perfect God.

i want mer/der to have a baby of their own i want them to also have zola but i want mer to be big and preggas and christina should get rid of hers because she isnt mummy material. i dont think everyone should end up on the mummy track it would be too weird. i would like to see everyone get into their fields of practise and all of them becoming attendings by the end of season 8. i love greys its my savior it has helped me get through good times and bad. oh how lovely would it be to work on set just for one day.. keep up the awesome work!! xx

I find it a bit ironic that Shonda can mention in passing possibly killing off Mer or Der but she avoided killing Izzie off. Not happy with her saying that Mer will likely suffer from Altzhiemers just makes me think nooooooooooooo.
I don't think this will be the last season of GA. GA is the top ABC drama and it's still hanging on to a top twenty spot. Why would they consider calling a halt to it?? All this season we're gonna have to live on tender hooks to see which actors stay and who decides to go

The nice ending would be, Cristina gave birth to baby.

I cant say how much I LUV Grey's Anatomy I swear if anything ever happens to any of my favorite people (which is everyone except Jackson and April) then I will commit suicide!!! That's how it should go: Christina should start liking Meredith's baby and decidine to keep her baby, who will be looked after by Owen while she gets better and better as a surgeon and Owen stays at home for a while on parternity leave; he can prepare dinner for Christina and clean the house while looking after the baby. Meredeith can show Derek how good she is with the baby and he forgives her and realise that he loves her because she doesn't see things black and white. Alex should be happy with the blondie that stole his job, she doesn't go to Africa. Lexie and Mark have a night stand and she gets pregnant too, while her boyfriend has already fallen for April, the new resident.

Greys Anatomy is my favorite show I have been watching since season one It really got more intresting when my 2 favorite characters,Callie and Christina finally found happiness again with Arizona and Owen after all the heartbreak with the whole izzy and george drama not to mention erica hunn and burke leaving christina on their wedding day plus her miscarriage. It's Mark and Lexis turn for happiness..I hope season 8 isn't the last season
