Supernatural Season 7 Spoilers: What's Ahead?

by at . Comments

Supernatural concluded its season with a series of shocking developments, the most prominent of which involves Castiel. Catch up on the finale with our review NOW.

Hell or High Water

How will those events affect what's ahead? The CW offered a few hints via the following press release, which the network sent out along with its fall schedule:

In season seven, the Winchesters will find themselves in an increasingly sinister, changing landscape, up against a new foe unlike anything they’ve ever fought. They’ll find their old tricks, weapons and hiding places all rendered useless. All they’ll have is each other. And the certainty that, like the last of the cowboy outlaws, whatever they face, they’re not going down without a fight.

Who might this "new foe" be? The new God we met on the May 6 episode? Sound off with your thoughts now!

Lmao, i think i read somewhere that Mark Walberg was gonna play Castiel in Season 7, But i think its bullshit(understatement) O_o'
Besides, what i realy didn't get is why Chuck let Castiel proclame himself as "God". If i were him, id Kick Castiel's ass So fuckin hard he'd pop right out of his meat-suit.

I think Castiel might just be the new foe for season 7. He's got all these 'ideas' of how the universe should be run and he might just go a bit O.T.T. I bet anything that he'll try killing or condeming people, who he see's fit, to hell and chop down anyone or thing that attempts to stand in his way. Even if it means the Winchester Brothers. It's safe to say that Castiel has 'lost his way' and unless big guns upstairs, GOD, does some divine intervention we could possibly see Castiel run amock.

I dont know what to think for ssn7 but I wanna see moar Mark Pellegrino - he was Luci's only other choice for a vessel when Sam wouldnt take it. Plus, he makes a badass Luci. :D

@aries93 I have a feeling that Cas will be pertinent in upcoming season 7 but not a regular, possibly cameos. and someone coming back, i'm guessing they will NOT bring back John but possibly Adam who went into the pit with Sam. I dunno.

It would seem the answer is obvious. At least I know how I would write it. Who can kill anything?....Death. I think that Dean's role in Death's big scheme may finally come to fruition. Death did say that someday he would even reap God... he didn't say which one.

Crowley was a good villain. I liked his wit and his take on things. I loved that he said that he was the only one that didn't underestimate the Winchester's. I hate the idea of Cass becoming the villain. Cass learned free will from Sam and Dean and as good as that was for them in the beginning it was also the reason that it is bad for them now. The brother's have a "do whatever it takes" approach when it comes to the job. They have that same outlook when it comes to family too. That is why Cass turned out the way that he did. It's sad though.

John is heaven not hell even though they cant find him their.

it could be their father come back from hell for revenge on them for leaving him, or he could be possessed by Castiel, who isn't relieved until later in the series or possibly some one new who's been watching them for quite some time. even the devil riding their brother out the pit wouldn't be a bad series twist. could be Sam' ex dead fiance risen from perdition with help from Castiel in order to screw with Sam and make him go insane, god could come back to beat the shit out of castiel and give Sam and dean some kind of weird ass angel/demon/creature seeing power or immortality for a while something.
