ITA w/ kate. Stelena is to obvious and bland. They are "suppose" to be this great 'thang that to me doesn't translate well on tv. Not nearly enough chemistry and connection. Translation: I don't buy in. Sometimes its painfully boring to watch them together. When her and damon are on screen its a freakin explosion of chemistry and connection. Elena is a young girl that has yet to live her life and she alluded to this on that hilltop two episodes ago. You can love someone and not end up with them. Elena will slowly have to come to terms with her feelings of love for Damon. I truly believe its being set up for a delena ending. Who is the favorite male character? The highest paid actor? Who wins all the polls and boards? Youtube? I agree with the person that said stelena isn't made for tv but delena sure as h*ll is. It would be to dull and stale if stelena winds up endgame. Look nobody knows for sure cause it hasn't happened yet. That being said, the writing is on the w
I must agree with Kate. I would really like to see a relationship build with Elena and Damon, give Stefan back to Elena lol. I really can't wait to see next season.

Yay, I won't have to suffer through Stelena anymore! Sorry but Stefan and Elena are so puppy love. Elena is 17, she will grow up and her choices will mature also. This is not stelenas lovestory, this if Vampire Diaries. Dawson and Joey didn't end up together, Stefan and Elena won't either. Stefan's blood lust and Dawsons dreams of directing (ie selfishness) will doom their relationships. Damon and Pacey were/are all about the women they so deeply love. True lovestories aren't boring and they involve mature females not children.

I have a feeling there will be less of Stefan and Stelena and more of Delena - I was expecting this, however. In the books, there was an entire book where you rarely saw Stefan. I think we will know about him and what Klaus is making him do, but he won't be one of the main points of Vampire Diaries in Season 3. Though I detest Delena with all my heart - not only is Damon not the sex god I expected him to be, he is only good for funny remarks and killing people and making things worse - I think some of their moments are really cute. People say Stelena is 'boring' when, really, they are true love. Put yourself in Elena's shoes - when your in that predictament you'd go for the "good" brother, too. Damon does have a heart, just not one that is easily expressive, and I think that's what Elena needs no matter what. Yes, there will be those moments when Elena can't help but think she wants Damon, but it will always be Stefan. Everyone knows that.

great another few episodes of stefan fighting his urges... not- we all know where this is heading- he'll drink a fudge load of blood, regret it, come running back to elena and damon, start whining about him being a monster and how he's killed loads of people(guess what- damons killed probably double the amount of people stefan ever will...) etc and try and kill himself- i think we all agree on the fact that damon is the only kick ass brother in the vampire diaries, therefore stefan should stick to whining and pulling annoying faces. im sorry if this offends people but these are my opinions on my least favourite character - stefan :)

I would like to say first that im not a DE fan i actually cant stand them BUT however there scene in this episode was just beautiful I would like them to be friends at the end of everything after the love triangle finishes.I for one cant wait for more bamon scenes to melt my tv screen thier chemistrey and eye sex is to much for me to handdle.
I think Stefan is going to face some dark days now ahead of him, last time he drank blood he went on a rampage but built himself up in a matter of weeks this time i dont think stefan will walk away or build himself back up he will give into the darkness and thats ezactly Klaus intentions to make him ''magnificat'' because Klaus knows back in 1864 Stefan and Damon haad the opisite roles.Damon was caring and sweet not much confidence where Stefan once turned was the magnificat killer and hunter who pressuerd Damon into taking his first killings and I think thats the person we will see Stefan turn into in season three.during this time more DE wil

Loulou I soooooo disagree that delena is wrong. First off they were brothers when they were messing with katherine. Second Stefan isn't so noble, I have a feeling season 3 will prove that. Third, Damon was orignally the sweet and innocent human not his brother. SO much for arguement that delena is wrong. Elena is a 17 year old girl, I'm sorry but not only do I not FEEL the "great lovestoy" for stelena but I don't buy it. She herself mentioned her age thus her immaturity. Loving a man is different from being IN love w/ a man. She will always love them, she can only be IN love w/ one. She will mature and slowly but surely she will realize its Damon she is in love w/. They will slowly fall in love while trying to find Stefan. Stelena is to blah for me. I don't care for them, delena makes me scream hehe
Am I the only one who thinks that this was mostly an awful episode?

I think Stefan did what he did for BOTH Damon and Elena. He knows she cares a lot about him and since she lost her entire family (except for jeremy) he chose to leave with Klaus instead of having her losing someone else, even if it means that they will be separated for a while. At least, nobody dies, I completely get that. His choice lays on trust and confidence: he knows his brother (and girlfriend) will do anything to save him, he knows Elena loves him and will understand, he knows they are all strong enough to go through that one more ordeal. Isn't that beautiful and romantic?!
About Delena, as painful as seeing Damon suffer for loving Elena can be, I think there will be no Delena soon. Have you met the girl? She will never ever betray Stefan in any way, especially when he sacrificed himself for his brother's life. Damon won't allow it either, he could have seduced Elena before but he never did because he respects and admires stelena's relationship whatever he says or does, why

I agree with kim and RoseLovesDamon. I'm all about delena and so over stelena. Stelena isn't sexy enough for tv, Delena is to sexy for tv ;)

ITA w/ RoseLovesDamon! Not much from the books makes it into tv. The whole Bon n Dam thing is just Stelena fans grasping at staws. They're scarred and won't even own up to the fact that she kissed him for selfish reasons, u could see it in her eyes. Elena and Damon have to much chemistry to ignore. This isn't Stefan and Elenas Diaries. The head writer put Spike n Buffy and Pacey n Joey endgame. Obviously, Delena has more then a chance @ endgame. I just don't care for stelena. They bore me, Delena however is explosive. Its tv and chemistry can't be denied.

no no no no no, i like your ideas, but no, bonnie and damon? never, i respect your ideas, but bonnie and damon... they have no spark at all,nothing,yes he cares about her,but only to get closer to elena, damon and elena are meant to be together,stefan seems to get the best out of everything, katherine,then elena, and doesn't damon deserve anything..and its kinda obvious elena has feelings for damon,she kissed him,not just because he was about to die,because she's starting to see how much he is sorry for everything,and that he cares about her so much,and she said herself,she likes him now,thats gotta mean something?, xxx

Hi while I agree that it was crazy yet cool that Anna & Vicky are either back or Jeremy can see dead vampires as some side effect. What I did not like at all was Elena kissing Damon for any reason but I don't think that it means that she loves both brothers as Katherine did as she put it. I think that she felt sorry for him because he loves her and he was dying, sometimes if someone is dying a woman will do something or tell them something that they want to hear just because they are dying, the same scene played out in Buffy's season finale when she told Spike that she loved him, when she didn't mean it but she knew that he would never get to hear anything again, so she told him that because she knew that he was going to die in a matter of moments. Which is the only reason that Elena kissed him because she believed that he was as good as dead. Another thing that I did bot care for was the fact that Elijah betrayed them all for a family that is dead and a brother that would kill him

i loved season 2 and cant wait for season 3......the only negative thing im gonna say is i dont know if i like where things are going with stephen its like damon and stephen are swapping characters and im not too sure about how thats gonna play out but were see......loved the scene with damon and elena been waiting for that for a long time and it was very tasteful......miss jenna shame she had to die and would love to see elijah again....

I hope Jeremy could see Jenna too! :| =)) that would be amazing! HAHA. I'm thinking that the whole season 3 would be about Elena and Damon, because Stefan would no longer be there by her side. Uggh! So excited for season 3.

I love it that we'll get more Elijah in the next season... for me he's the show's best bad boy!! Now if I were to make a wish list for casting other originals I think they should try to book Ed Westwick from Gossip Girl- he"s hot and he has the accent!
