Katherine is not the worst character and Damon is the best character. I also think that Stefan should stay the ripper for a while and I do not think he is faking is as one person say.

If TVD got an A-, then no show should be rated higher lol. Damon was def. The best character but honorable mentions to elijah and Caroline. If they give Tyler more screen time he could have been up there also. Best episode has to be the finale, I gave up and became full throttle delena. They are just to hott for tv, they must be endgame. Plus, the finale gave us "ripper" Stefan which is soooo much better then the Stefan we know. He is a really good character when he isn't acting all sweet and holding elena's purse all damn day. I really want to see elena stay true to herself but grow and mature and that will only happen if she takes chances. She will make mistakes but damn, she needs to show some maturity. I want her alone for a while, before she gets hot and heavy w/ Damon. I'm all for delena, they are what I'm most excited for but she needs to become a woman first.

A++ The whole cast is amazing. Best ever. Especially love the screen presence of Damon-Ian Somerhalder. In Australia, they are running the last six episodes after midnight. The network is not giving the show enough support, which sucks. Oh well, can't wait for the DVDs and season three.
Ps. Love Nina, but I hope that Elena is not so boring, nice and moral in S3. Make mistakes girl!

i completely disagree with u about Katherine. She is one of the best characters on tvd. hats off to nina for portraying elena and katherine so differently. But i think when they brought kalus' storyline in, they kind of forgot katherine and didnt pay attention to her character. But she still managed to do well. so yeah they need to use katherine more, and u should change katherine's name from the worst character description, and put in matt's name. i love matt too but c'mon that is a bad character. Dont know why some ppl think elena is boring. like everything in the show is centered around her. so how can she be boring? thats like calling tvd boring, and that is never the case with this show. I love tvd, best show on tv right now. I would give it a A. cant wait for season 3 and delena
I have to agree that I would be disappointed if Stefan immediately becomes good again. I want to see him be really dark for a while.

SO AGREE with you Tilly. I've got exactly the same trio characters. They're ALL awesome. Damon because it's Damon, and we love him, but so times he acted to much like a child, compare to beautiful/charismatique/powerful/magnetic Elijah. The episode 2.19 is, for me, a revelation. The acteur is doing a really good job. And finally, but not least, Caroline. How we can love a character that we hate the previous season. She's is sunny/funny/smilly. She makes us laugh and sometimes cry. Caroline and Elijah are the two BIG revelations of this second season. Can't wait to see what comes next. :)
the season overall of this year is definitely a A-. Damon was a pretty decent character, I definitely agree that Katherine was the worst character, my favorite episode of season 2 was "The Last Day", the story of the werewolves was ok but kind of lame, and I think that season 3 will also start up as being another great big shocker. Klaus is turning Stefan down and Damon should do the same thing and help him back as well. In every show I hear, good will always triumph over evil, Stelena fans live forever, and there will always have true love remaining. I agree that my Thursday nights will feel empty untill September but no worries. I have the recap of seasons 1 and 2 to remember. This show never stops growing of being incredibly awesome. =) XD =O

wau this the best show tv eva..since i layed eyz on it i neva took a step back..in ma opinion the all the applause shld be given 2 damon his character is so unboring..even tho he did a lot of cruel things in season 1 like wen he killed lexis their longtime friend and transformed many innocent people..but in season 2 he kinda showed himsef as sme savage being who waz slowly learning from the fact of mingling with human beings in mystic falls..now his more cooperative and his starting to feel pity and smtimes concerned look bt too bad he strting to deveop sme feeling 4 elaina..on the contrary elaina iz such a boring person both on the inside and outside..thumps up for the writaz who hve introced the sexy warewolf tylor his just amzing with caroline such a strong bond and a forbiden mysterious chemistry within this 2 different creatures..now vempire diaries iz even getin more interestin with stefan goin away with klaus.elaina alone with damon.and most of all caroline breaking up with he
Best character: Damon!!! He gets the best quotes and the best scenes! He is by far the most attractive one and by far the most interesting! I love him! :)
Worst character: Bonnie! I really can't stand her, i was upset when i thought she had died on elena's part but when she was alive i was so annoyed! I hate her!
Best episode: Finale! It was so gooood! All delena and nothing hurt! I also love ripper stefan! what a hotty!
Best storyline: I liked the moonstone twist at the end! :)
Hopes for 2011-2012: Less bonnie, more delena! No vikki and lots of anna! Caroline and Tyler, evil stafan! :)
Overall grade: A++++++++++, it's my fave show at the moment! Can't wait for series threeee!

Katherine isn't gone or done. Klaus told Stefan that they were going to find her. Stefan is going to go back to being Elaina's love slave soon. He built up a tolerance to blood, Elaina's blood. The only reason he is acting like a "ripper" is to get Damon the cure and I think now to find out how to kill Klaus. In the meantime I think that Stefan will be with Katherine to please Klaus. Damon will go on the search for Stefan with Elaina and they will kindle a romance that will be kept a secret when they get Stefan back. The end result to kill Klaus... Take the dagger's out of all of the originals in that warehouse. Rick will become Elaina and Jeremy's guardian, now that Jenna and John are dead.
I like Bonnie having all that power. All the characters are supernatural in one way or another, except Rick. I wanna know what the heck happened to Jeremy! Is he seeing just dead vampires or dead people all together? Those witches weren't going to help Bonnie because of the conseque

best character damon but they do over play his angst over a 17 yr old.. sometimes it doesnt seem right..
worst character elena boring as hell and makes the worse decisons of the bunch sigh..

best storyline emily bennett witch.. even tho it hasnt been dealt wit in depth but if it had it wud be incredible.. but the werewolves were lame all they had was werewolf rabies to giv vamps.. so i will say caroline-matt-tyler triangle very interesting had jsu enough angst and wasnt over done like the delena stelena thing..
hopes? more bonnie more her own storyline better spells and dig into the witch aspect.. less delena angst
overall grade c.. its hot but certain things the characters do sometimes dont make sense.. plans are properly executed and to many boring macgruffins and no character development..

The only thing I agree with is "A true commitment to this dark version of Stefan. It's a welcome change for him and for Paul Wesley and I don't want the show to have him revert back to simply being Elena's sweet savior after just a couple episodes.".

i'm sorry but i disagree with your worst charachter choice. katherine? really? yes, underused charachter, sure. but nina dobrev plays her to perfection and she makes all her scenes so interesting. that being said she really deserves a bigger storyline in s3. and i would give it an A*. it has the best WTF moments on tv! in s3 i REALLY want to see katherine alive, ill never forgive them for killin her and i want damon and elena and tyler and caroline together!
I don't really agree with everything I think best character should be shared between Damon, Elijah & Caroline.
Truly loved the werewolf story line, Tyler's transformation was one of the most riveting sequences of the season. I am totally on board for you 2011-2012 hopes.
Elena : I just want to kill her. It's that simple.
