Very sad to see the end of The Closer, I never missed a episode. I just finished watching Major Crimes and for lack a better words " it stunk ". The story was confusing from the beginning and there were so many people it lacked a good story. Too much going on. The new Captain played her roll well on The Closer but fell way short on the spin-off. I don't think it's going to make it, but I'll give it one more try. Miss you Kyra, you were exceptional,

Watched 2nd show of major crimes. It was bad, bad, bad won't watch another. Lead is not right for the role. Compared to the closer this show just lays there. The captain and the lead are the only big changes and they are bad. I feel sorry for the other regulars I liked them. They deserve better.

Mary McDonnell is bad cast in this show. As Brenda said" I can't imagine a scenario she could be a good cast member". I am disappointed in the show and will give it one more look. I like the rest of the cast. Wish Gabriel had not been sent off.

I am sorry to see the Closer series end it was a great show Each character in the show had a special part they played and each worked well together I think the Ryder character will do just fine the writers will hopefully tone down her aggresive character in this new series I hope all the characters remain the same yet with a little less back biting I do not know why Kyra had to leave the show but we all have to do what we have to do and life goes on as will the new series good luck to all the cast in the new show and may Kyra find what she is looking for in the future On with the show!

I like everyone EXCEPT Chief Pope. I cannot stand him. He is the only reason I wouldn't watch the new show. If his character is there, forget it. He is irritating enough now. When The Closer began, he was okay. They've made his character worse and worse...I know people like him in real life, I don't need to tune in to see him.

Really, really hate to see The Closer close. I believe it has been one of the best shows ever. The actors, each character, the story lines - just can't be beat. I wasn't fond of Captain Ryder at first, but she grows on you. No one could ever replace Brenda Lee, but the character of Raydor is so different it can work. (The guys didn't like Brenda at first either.) How can you go wrong with Provenza and Flynn. Good luck to Major Crimes.

My husband & myself look forward to watching The Closer whenever it is on tnt. Reruns & new episodes alike. sooo Major Crimes sounds like we will love it. Kyra was wonderful as Brenda Lee. Mary plays a great Sharon. The rest of the cast is fab. Cannot wait to see Major Crimes. Thank you. The Closer gave us hours of entertainment, now looking forward to Major Crimes for more hours of entertainment& fun.

Kyra Sedgwick and the rest of the cast has provided my wife and I with many hours of entertainment and we are really sorry to see the Closer end however, We are hopeful Major Crimes cast and writers will continue with the great story lines etc. As far as the Raydor character the writers have accomplished what they wanted us all to think that she is the bad guy (woman in this case) I think she will continue to do and be a great charter.
Thank you James Duff, Staff, Cast and everyone who was a part of the closer.

i really didnt start watching closer til 2012, because i wasnt really interested but brenda captured me in the first episode, i like her style and the cast but i dont like the raydor character. and i will not be watching, my prediction is it wont last more that one season. cause kyra was the show and she was the best. every show doesnt need a spin off.

How can this work with Brenda's team when not one of them like Raydor? If they stay it won't seem plausible..And if it is a new cast, well, who cares? I don't mean to be cruel but seriously the magic was Brenda..

The ending of a great show leaves loyal watchers in a less jerk when it's aa spinnoff as Major Crimes is, therefore to be a spinoff, the actors of the Closer should be on the show minus Ms. Sedgewick for she is leaving the show and not the other cast members. If this is the Mary McDonnell show without the cast, she may have a rough time of it. I for one, loved all the actors on the show and think they could pull off a show without Brenda.

I love how they developed Mary McDonnell's character over time. They were able to maker her more approachable over time while respecting where she was coming from in the beginning. I look forward to seeing how her character will be developed in Major Crimes. The cast and writing team is a great ensemble and worthy of a 2nd chance.

My question is what's happening to Kyra's charactor. Will she be gone? The reason Mary McDonnell's charactor works is because Krya and Mary are opposites and they play off each other. It was entertaining. You take one of those ingredients away and there goes the formula. I don't understand Hollywood. They'd rather have Reality Shows then good TV Drama's.

I think it'll be great. I'm sure many viewers (myself included) were really put-off my Capt. Raydor when she first came. But I really gort to like her character and warmed to her as she helped Brenda Leig

Get a life. It is just a TV show. Nothing more. It amazes me how people really start thinking that these are "real" people and not just actors/actresses performing.

As seriously unpleasant as they made this character, what makes them think that anyone will want to watch? I love Mary McDonnell's movies that I have seen, and I love The Closer, but I will not watch that character. I used to work for an arrogant woman like that one; I don't spend my spare tinme voluntarily observing another.
