Michael Cera to Voice Love Interest on The Simpsons

at .

It's difficult for The Simpsons to get much funnier. But this is promising means toward that end:

Michael Cera, forever known as George-Michael Bluth to Arrested Development fans, will voice a character on the iconic Fox sitcom this fall.

The young actor will portray Nick, a love interest for Lisa.

“He starts quoting Hemingway and she says, ‘You’re not a product of the Springfield public schools, are you?’ And he goes, ‘No, I come to Springfield for the food and the women,’” executive producer Al Jean teases to EW. “So he talks a good game. [But] she starts to realize that he’s less than expected.”

The episode will be titled “The Daughter Also Rises."
