Giancarlo Esposito to Play Dual Roles on Once Upon a Time

Once Upon a Time... ABC made a huge casting splash by turning a Breaking Bad villain into a literal man in the mirror.

Giancarlo Esposito - best known for recently slicing an associate's throat open with a box cutter on the aforementioned AMC drama - has signed to one of TV's most unusual fall pilots.

The actor will recur on Once Upon a Time, the fairy tale-based series that stars Jennifer Morrison and Ginnifer Goodwin and takes place in fictional Storybrooke. According to TV Line, Esposito will portray the mirror-trapped visage who offers advice to the Evil Queen in one world, and a local reporter in another.

This might make more sense after you watch the official Once Upon a Time trailer.
