That awful Lauren Zizes character will be back but not Sam Evans??!! Chord Overstreet's not my favorite performer but he had potential and he was beginning to build up quite a fan base.
And, finally, his character was showing some real promise...Sigh!

Ryan should listen to the fans...they are disappointed with this! Sam's storyline was one that hit home for a lot of people in this economy, and he was a lovable, fun character. Fans are upset with this news, really hope Ryan reconsiders. #savechord and "Chord Overstreet" were twitter topics all last night with twitter fans in an outrage of this news as well.

I don't really understand... I mean, Sam was not one of the character bring to support the leaving of the original cast next year? At first, I was sceptical of him but I've grown accustomed to him and I like him now...

I don't get why they would cut out Chord Overstreet as a regular. His story of having financial problems was a good one and they just started one between him and Mercedes. For me, it's a bad choice.

Okay so in the finale they started a big "shocking" storyline of Sam and Mercadies, and now they're just gunna write him off? what was the point...

So sad. I think Harry is an amazing dancer but it is a bit of a joke that he gets upgraded and Chord is out, I mean Mike Chang has no personality other than he's an amazing dancer and the occasional Chinese gag with Tina (panda hair in food, Chinese therapist etc.), other than that we know nothing of him. I know they plan to expand on him next season but seriously, I'm already kind of bored of him (the character, not Harry). It's a joke he's been upgraded, to trot him out in the background to accompany someone dancing (when it is clear he cannot sing) is crazy, Chord can sing and Glee is about singing (as they say every freakin' episode "you know I'm no good saying what I think, I have to sing about it instead" *groan*).
I was really looking forward to Samcedes, it's so typical they cut the one character with morals and ethics (taking care of his family, doesn't cheat, treats women with respect etc.). And poor Mercedes, she finally gets a great guy and they don't even bring the storyl

Fans are starting a campaign of buying "Billionaire" on iTunes to send the message that Sam and his poverty storyline have a lot of support. If Chord retains the same non-regular-but-recurring status as last season, that could be enough to keep them from writing him off the show entirely.
