NCIS to Serve Up Major Abby Storyline
NCIS fans can look forward to some McGee family history this season, as well as the return of Robert Wagner and Ralph Waite as the fathers of Gibbs and DiNozzo, respectively. But what about the much-anticipated Abby story we've heard whispers about?
Given that Pauley Perrette was recently named the most popular star in all of primetime, it's no surprise longtime fans have been excited for this for some time.
Well, it turns out we won't be waiting much longer.
Executive producer Gary Glasberg tells TV Guide:
"We're going to actually get into a story line that's going to reveal something about Abby's past and her family that people aren't going to see coming. It's a revelation that she makes on her part... and it's going to tee up a mini-arc."

I"m glad Abby is getting a good episode but I'm also very glad to see McGee get some. He hasn't had a really great episode in a couple of years and it was starting to hack me off. I like 'em all but I was beginning to feel like even Palmer was getting more story than McGee! He's turned into a seasoned agent and they should use him for something more than what any good computer person could do for them. It's high time we got to find out more about Abby and McGee's family tree!!!

Great love Abby happy she gets an episode it looks like everyone gets an episode this year. we get McGee's grandmother, Ziva's mother, see more of Gibbs father, and we see Tony SR work with Tony again.

Not that I mind more Gibbs or Senior character stories but the other characters need some serious back story.

YAH!ABBY This should be really good because Abby is fantastic on NCIS. She should have more scenes with the Team. Am so looking forward to this - and of course the Dads and the Grandma for Timmy. Sounds like a nice year for Season 9.
