Will This Be the Final Season of Supernatural?
There will be an extra episode of Supernatural, The CW announced yesterday, expanding this Friday night favorite to 23 hours of programming in 2011-2012.
That's the exciting news. But now for the troubling question: Might season seven mark the end of the Winchester brothers? Network president Mark Pedowitz hopes not.
“It is not intended to be the last season,” Pedowitz said today at the Television Critics Association’s summer press tour. “We’ll see how the ratings go. We hope it keeps going. We’ll take it one step at a time.”
What about Gossip Girl, meanwhile? Could it survive if Blake Lively and/or Leighton Meester depart to pursue movie careers?
“I’m a big believer in casts staying together," Pedowitz said. "We hope they stay together as long as possible. When we have to cross that bridge... we’ll see [what happens].”

I agree with that one guy, Supernatural is the only good show left now that Smallville is gone. I really hope the show doesn't end soon. I'd be too pissed/sad.

I hope it goes on for many seasons to come but they must go back to their roots in order for this to happen. Supernatural is about exactly that. The supernatural. Ghosts, demons, mythological creatures etc. Not silly slapstick humour like The French Mistake. Please go back to your roots Supernatural

I hope Supernatural lasts at least ten season like SMV did, SPN is much better show and I love all seasons and show just keeps getting better. Its not all about angels its still very much about brothers if people pay attention they would see that.

I don't think that the cw will let them stop anytime soon, after loosing smallville its really the only thing they have going for them imo.

I hope Supernatural ends at least after another 2 seasons on air. I'd like to see it go back to it's old roots, instead of focusing on Angels. Don't get me wrong, I love Supernatural, but season 4 was the worst season in my opinion. I loved season 1, 2 and 3 more than any other season, but 4, 5 and 6 are kinda going off point. Yeah, they focus on story arcs that build up to the big bad, but these big bads only revolve around Angels, eventually drifting off to a big bad.
I hope season 7 takes the show back to the way it was in season 1, exploring the brothers relationship, hunting demons and exploring the conquest of mystery.

Anyway, I don't think they will end with Season 7. But IF they did, I'd probably cry like a baby at the finale.

The title freaked me out. I thought they already decided for Supernatural to end. It's my favorite shoe and I hope it won't end with season 7
