erm...Vince marrying Sophia is "wildly unrealistic"? Have you been WATCHING the show? It's all wildly unrealistic. That's why we watch. That's what makes it awesome and why, despite the grumbling, the movie (if it happens) will be well watched and received by fans.
Loved the show - let's hug it out B@#$h.

that was how it ends? really? A string of sappy and unbelievable story lines is surprising but what's more puzzling was the speed in which these story lines unfolded and resolved themselves. turtle becomes a millionaire last week, vince marries a girl he was about to date on last weeks episode, ari quits on a whim, e gets back together with the girl even though he was sleeping with her step mom last week? All unbelievable on their own, but why the rush in ending so quickly???? This seems like a money situation all the way. Maybe it was the success of the Sex in the City movies where the producers figured out they can make as much or more money making a single movie instead of creating an entire season. Pure speculation on my part, but given the puzzling and disapointing conclusion...I'm looking for an explanation...

@hoodafux - Wow, how did I miss the scene after the credits!? Unfortunately I'm thinking that was just a tease for the movie...

And, wow, I finally get Renata's references to Mrs. Gold's behind...

Maybe an Ari Gold spin-off is possible methinks after watching past the end credits..

Wow, great review! As lackluster as these last few seasons have been, I was actually sad to see Vince and the boys leave me, even if it is only until the movie.

But definitely agree with you, what's with the wildly unrealistic action of Sophia marrying Vince?

You did see the bit after the credits, right? No one seems to be commenting on it! If ever it was set up for a movie - Welcome back Hell-raising Ari is the beginning of it!

What a great episode even though it wasn't typical entourage like ! And matt, excellent review!

Lamest ending ever... awkward and unbelievable for all of the above reasons. Ari's wife didnt deserve him, no women who loves their husband would ever do what she did to him. He worked for the family, and all she had was unrealistic, selfish, unfair assumptions about how Ari needed to be. So what if he was rough around the edges? Most real good men are, they work hard to provide for their family but still manage to strike a balance in life.

I like your review mostly but i disagree in one aspect. I think a person like sophia is the perfect character to fall instantly for vince. because of her prissy, educated nature she seems to be observant enough to see who vince truly is, a godfather. he is the don of family entourage and she wants a part of that. that simple. makes perfect sense. Also, he is very compasionate, romantic, good looking ....
