Grey's Anatomy Season Premiere Clips: A Blessing in Disguise?

at . Comments

Grey's Anatomy begins its eighth season Thursday night, and perhaps the most discussed, unresolved story arc heading into the fall is whether Cristina will keep her baby. The clip below sheds light on that.

As Meredith tries to put a positive spin on her career setback, she reflects on how it will allow her to spend more time with baby Zola. That's when Cristina makes this surprising, and honest, admission:

Follow the jump for three more new clips from Thursday night, in which:

  • Mark and Arizona debate a hot topic - and whether to make it interesting.
  • Teddy gives Henry a pep talk that he doesn't necessarily like the tone of.
  • Owen and the team survey the scope of the massive sinkhole disaster.

Also included below are clips from the premiere that we posted earlier in the summer. Enjoy them and comment below on what you think will transpire on this week's two-hour season premiere:

Peeko, 100 % agree!! Im exxcited for this season, i hope they fin-a-lly have a great storyline for alex.
The teddy scenes bore me already, she is just not a interesting adding too the show, i mean, who gives about her?

What you said! i think so too

Christina sure gets pregnant a lot for a person who doesn't want babies. You'd think a brilliant surgeon who is career oriented would have enough sense to use birth control?!

The doc who is gonna win the bet will be the one who backs Avery, his SL is gonna show he has talent in surgery and leadership. I think fate will take the decison to have a bay out of Cris' hands, but there'll always be that wall between Crowencos he wants a family and she doesn't. If Adele's Alzhiemers is still continuing to progress how can anyone prove Mer interfered with the clinical trial. But I think Der will not be a forgiving husband if Mer runs away with Zola, another reason to be mad at Mer. I really think the mothering hormone has really kicked in with Mer and she's terrified at loosing Zola, hence her taking Zola before the social worker can. But on a positive note, we all know the adoption is gonna happen eventually

One more sleep. yea

Eric Dane completed drug treatment BEFORE returning to work for S8. Christina doesn't want children. She shouldn't have to throw away 25 years of education and training to serve the right wing/pro-life agenda like Meredith has.

emma louise* that is.

emma lousie! a great aussie artist.

Greys anatomy 1 fan

THe more and more clips i watch the more and more i wanna see it and plus christina needs to keep the baby cause she needs a little ray of sun shine and mer should be a surgen and derek one to but he should also be a part time stay at home dad he goes in when they need him

Honestly I don't want to watch anymore clips, I watched the first one with Meredith and the Chief and that's it. I want to form my own opinion once it airs I don't want to watch clips that will ruin the premiere for me. I basically want to watch it untainted. I am really looking forward to the premiere and seeing it all unfold.

Grey's Anatomy Quotes

Did you say it? 'I love you. I don't ever want to live without you. You changed my life.' Did you say it? Make a plan. Set a goal. Work toward it, but every now and then, look around; Drink it in 'cause this is it. It might all be gone tomorrow."

Meredith (closing voiceover)

There's a reason I said I'd be happy alone. It wasn't 'cause I thought I'd be happy alone. It was because I thought if I loved someone and then it fell apart, I might not make it. It's easier to be alone, because what if you learn that you need love and you don't have it? What if you like it and lean on it? What if you shape your life around it and then it falls apart? Can you even survive that kind of pain? Losing love is like organ damage. It's like dying. The only difference is death ends. This? It could go on forever.
