Grey's Anatomy Season Premiere Scoop: Photos, Official Description
The two-hour season premiere of Grey's Anatomy is almost upon us.
With less than three weeks to go until September 22, ABC has released the official descriptions for both "Free Falling" and "She's Gone," the two episodes that will comprise the opener.
Below, we run down each installment and post a trio of images from each hour. (Note: Plenty more photos to come this week!)
Free Falling: The fifth-year residents return for the first day of a year that will make or break their careers: Meredith faces the consequences of tampering with Derek's clinical trial and is terminated at the hospital; April tries to step up to the plate as Chief Resident in the wake of a giant sinkhole in the middle of Seattle; and Cristina and Owen are still at odds over their drastically different feelings for their unborn child.
She's Gone: News of Meredith and Derek's unsteady relationship raises a red flag for Zola's adoption counselor; Alex quickly realizes that he has become the outcast of the group after ratting out Meredith; and Cristina makes a tough decision regarding her unexpected pregnancy. Also, Chief Webber brings Henry in for a last minute surgery, alarming Teddy.

I'm gonna need a box of tissues for the opening episodes. Hate that the social worker figures out MerDer have hit the rocks again. I want lots of MerDer Mcdreamy moments, not Der being Mr Angry and forgetting the post it rules
I don't recall Bailey ever having to stand on a stool to get the attention of the interns or residents she was in charge of. Everyones ignoring Kepner, LOL. I think Mr Altman's surgery will be cancelled when the sinkhole incident happens

Looking forward to the start of season 8, everytime something is said make's me go yahhhhh it's getting closer. Just over 2 weeks to go or 17 days to be precise.
Bring it on! Oh in second half of premire "She's Gone" i do think that Zola is taken away but hopefully not for long, it would be a incedible twist if Mer finds out she is in fact pregnant like someone else has suggested in another story.
Painful
Unexpected
Wonderful
Still musing over this.

And in German ECG is in fact EKG.
Different countries use different terms so as not to confuse EEG with ECG.
ECG/EKG = Electrocardiography this is done on the patients heart.
EEG = Electroencephalography this is done on the patients head.
Just thought I clear that up too.

Oops just checked the spelling because some are crazy about wrong spelling.
It's arrhythmia for irregular heartbeat.

Why is I put a comment up and I come back the next day or later in the day and it's gone.
So looking forward to this premiere. Looks like Alex and Cristina are reading his ECG results. In the promo you see Alex on the floor, from everything I have read, someone didn't say "CLEAR" and Alex was touching the patient when the defibrillator went off giving him a jolt and which would have given him a-anathema, I could be wrong, that's way I can't wait for the premiere. It's the 5th here in the lovely land of OZ, wishing we had a wizard to make time go faster :)
