True Blood Season 5 Spoilers: New Faeries, New Characters

at . Comments

We already know who is coming back, in some capacity, for season five of True Blood. But who will join this character in Bon Temps?

Producer Raelle Tucker offered a lot of insight into next summer via a new interview with Entertainment Weekly, teasing a number of arrivals and upcoming storylines. To wit:

Sucking on Sookie
  • We'll meet "a very significant, strong, mysterious woman at the center of one of our main stories next year,” says Tucker. “It may be someone you’ve heard of before.”
  • The show will visit the fairy world again - a dropped storyline that angered us in the most recent True Blood Round Table - as the season "will explore more fairies, new fairies, fairies in a way you haven’t really seen fairies."
  • The wolf that growled at Sam to conclude season four will be identified.
  • Russell Edgington? He'll return, Tucker confirmed:"It’s safe to assume the king of Mississippi is not gone for good.”
  • Sookie will remain single.
  • The consequences of Bill and Eric teaming up to kill Nan "are going to chase them for a while next year.”

Quinn is from the books.

i agree with karen and val,but who is quin?i have never missed a episode.

I really loved this season but I would have loved for Sookie and Eric to be together at little longer than 3 episodes! Especially since he just got his memory back. Btw Jessica and Jason is hot!!

@Nora - that's a possibility! He did taste her blood, so he should know when she's scared too. He could locate her and sense her fear.

@Poisonouss hooker, you've got that all mixed up. Sookie is the one with loyalty issues. She's hardly wholesome - jumping in bed with Eric just moments after breaking up with Bill. She shrugs off the horrific things LaLa and Tara have gone through due to Eric (e.g. capture, torture, rape) because she's all wet for him. She's hardly supportive of their pain or apologetic for choosing Eric over her lifelong friends. Lala and Tara both had a role in rescuing her, first at the emporium, then saving her men when they were being burned at the stake. Then Tara takes a bullet for her. And you have the nerve to bring up race? sigh Take a look in the mirror whitegirl, you have perception issues.

I think, maybe Edgington will show up where screaming Sookie is begging for someone(anyone) to save Tara.

I do hope that Tara stays.. After all, she and Lafayette are the closest to family that both Sookie & Jason have left. Although, I do wanna know when we'll get to see more of Hunter!?! I wish the writers would make Tara more loyal already. It's kinda getting a bit, "Wholesome whitegirl, with the White light save her poor black lost friends." C'mon, let's get more creatively modern. Intermingle and introduce more ethnicities to the story. After all today's world is more of a melting pot. Btw, love Sam's new love interest. The South could use a bit of exotic & extraordinary...Looking forward to see what you all make of Quin. Especially since you royally F'd up on Claudia! C'mon people, let's get this right try and do this alluringly bizarre world some justice! Kudos! Loved this Season and anxiously await Season 5!

I think Pam let Russell out to kill Sookie so she can have Eric back. The only people who knew about his whereabouts were her, Bill, Eric & Alcide.

Sookie should ask Bill or Eric to "Make" Tara in order to save her. Tara would make a greta Vampire!
