Kutcher is one of the best actors alive. this is totally a writers issue; They must have killed off all the male writers because they have girlified one of the best shows of all time. The attraction of the show is no mystery, what is a mystery is why go this totally different direction? Kutcher could have easily replaced Charlie as a lady's man. In fact, with good writers, you could have had guest "Charlies" each week such as Kutcher, Mel Gibson, Justin Timberlake, Russell Crow, etc. You would dominate the time slot with every person on earth tuning in to see what comedic genius you could come up with using this different stars!

I was hoping that this show would continue, but as has been said here over and over, it just isn't interesting or funny anymore.
I think Sheen made it. Elsewise I think Hugh Grant would have been worth the money and creative differences, would have been better than this with Hugh Grant doing some upper class womanising for sure.

Ashton Kutcher is terrible, he looks like a bum they dragged off the street and he can't act. He's just not funny. I tried to watch the new show without Charlie Sheen, but it was even worse than I'd thought it would be. It's 100% boring: the producers must either crawl on thier knees to get Sheen back, or pack it in!

What are the producers and writers thinking. The show is not working with the little boy Walden. I watched the three shows so far an I am Done.

Wow, Ashton is cast as a total jerk with no brains. This show had better hurry and get in back on track. Its boring and not funny at all. I watched the third show hoping it would improve but it was the same boring stuff and not funny. The cast from last season are very good but Ashton has to GO. Its time to watch a new show thats funny.

its just not doing it for us.....Waldon is an idiot!!!! His character should be acting more mature! Losing interest very fast!!!! The writers should know that this show attracts a mature audience... Becoming unrealistic!!!!!!

Love Sheen, yea he made mistakes we all do. Chuck needs to suck in his pride and get him back. The show is slowly going down hill. He was fired, we all know whacko Melanies Character is crazy when it comes to her Charlie. They need to bring Sheen back and make it look like Melanie (Rose) faked his death. I only watch repeats cuz Sheen makes the show. Love the rest of cast. Sincerely, Connie!

Unfortunately, the show is dying right in front of us. Kutcher's character is just painful to watch. I watched episode 2 after reading the poor reviews from show 1 and I was sorry to have wasted my time. The only thing that interested me was to see how Alan was able to weasel himself back into the house but even that wasnt enough to make me crack a smile. I was hoping things would work out for the sake of the show, and to teach Sheen a good lesson. But, it's just so ridiculous! Sheen showed his @$$ and deserved to get canned, but without him the show is just stupid!

I've always been a great fan of two and a half men. I watched the three first episodes of season 9 with Ashton. I must say, the show has become a joke with the Ashton-child character. Ashton is much better than that demeaning character. All old characters are still funny, except the walden character, which, to me, kinda makes fun of the viewers being too ridiculous. Charlie Sheen is really missed, and I think the show is dead. The replacement and its idea were a dismal failure. I won't watch another new episode; only the old ones with Sheen. To make a long story short, the new idea is sucky and the show died with Sheen.

Chuck,
You have to decide what is more important: your pride or the success of the show.
I don't know what you were thinking creating a child-like, dopey, 'feel sorry for me' millionaire who loves baby shampoo! Really???? That's what you came up with????
I am not particularly fond of Charlie Sheen, but Charlie Harper made the show! I read about all the tension on set, but somehow that was undetectable to the audience. There was chemistry between the characters and the show had a GREAT flow and was hilarious. Now it's just awkward and puzzling.
By now (a whole 3 episodes in) you must realize that if you don't bring Charlie back, you are better off just throwing in the towel.
I have nothing against Ashton, but his acting sucks! He is the same character in everything he is in, and he is still acting as that 70s guy. He just doesn't have it, and his character on the show doesn't help at all!!!

i've been debating whether to contact the producer and suggest that either alan awaken one morning to find charlie in the shower "bobby ewing-style" or that rose, in a brief moment of sanity, confess that charlie wasn't actually killed in the subway accident but rather rendered an amnesiac and she's been keeping him in the syphillis ward of a mental hospital in prague. i missed the first two "new" episodes but watched the third -- didn't even crack a smile yet the reruns leave me laughing out loud (no matter how many times i've see a particular episode). speaking of reruns, if i want to watch kutcher being funny i'll tune into one from the '70s show -- he carried that series!

They should rename the show to One and Half Men cause they're carrying it. Just have alan and jake if they don't bring Charlie back. This is just painful to watch.

Ashton Kutcher is still playing the character he played in "That 70's Show". He plays that character in every movie or TV show he's been in. Let's face Charlie Harper and Alan Harper had good chemistry together. I can't see Walden or Alan having anything in common except the same address. Such a shame!

I'm a black man usually use to watching black sitcoms. However, I started watching this program this year (2011). Over the years, I would notice it as I flipped through the channels; but I was never a huge fan of Charlie Sheen, so I disregarded it. One day I decided to watch, for lack of better programs on said day, and I fell in love with it. I watch it everyday now (reruns 2003-2011/even from youtube.com). I'm addicted to it.
To me, it is the best sitcom ever. I laugh so hard at this sitcom that I get dizzy and fall to the floor. I'm really upset that Charlie Sheen is gone. The show is just not the same. Eight years of success could not compel both sides to make up for the sake of fans. They must bring Charlie Sheen back, or this sitcom will not last. I still set my clock on Monday nights, though; and at least I still have eight years of reruns to enjoy.

Well, I gave it two chances, both of which were extremely difficult to sit through, and as far as I'm concerned, it didn't deserve a third chance. Not one bit funny. I hated the new Two and a Half Men so much that I can't even find words to describe it! Please bring Charlie back!

The first week was sort of funny, but not the same mojo. Wanted to give it a chance, want it to be funny. But it has progressively gotten worse. Last night was just painful to watch. Seems like they are trying to hard. With Charlie it just had a natural flow, no forced silly slapstick. There is a lot of talent on this show including Ashton, let them be there characters again. I will give it one more chance, so make it happen..................

Jake and Alan make the show. Sad to think that Ashton makes more than them. Ha kinda the life style that Charlie lives and brought to the screen is what most people want to see. If your a smart man Chuck you might want to re-asses your stand with Charlie and be the bigger person, after all Charlie did make the show much better.
