This week, Grey's Anatomy airs its much-touted male-centric episode, "What Is It About Men."

ABC has released photo galleries and synopses for the following two weeks, giving us plenty of additional material to speculate about as the eighth season of the medical drama gets into full swing.

If you're a Calzona fan, or just enjoy the dynamic of the two of them raising a baby along with Mark, the sixth episode of the season looks like a must-see. Both of these sound quite good, really:

On October 13, the residents try their hardest to impress surgical great Catherine Avery - surgical legend, mother of Jackson's mother -when she arrives at Seattle Grace to perform a groundbreaking transplant.

Arizona and Alex find their hands tied with a confidentiality issue when a familiar patient comes into the ER. Love-struck Teddy throws a dinner party for the couples. Bailey makes a decision regarding her love life.

On October 20, a blackballed Meredith uses Lexie to spark Derek's interest in her patient's rare brain tumor case and, completely under the radar, gives guidance to April regarding Bailey's clinical trial.

Elsewhere, Alex and Teddy research alternative surgeries for a superficial patient, Callie and Cristina struggle with a very difficult spinal surgery, and Callie gets her wish - that Arizona and Mark form a friendship.

Of course, she then realizes it's more irritating than helpful. Careful what you wish for ...
