Vocal Adrenaline has hired a new coach, Ryan Murphy revealed today during a set visit that honored Glee's 300th musical performance, and the man in charge is a familiar face:

Jonathan Groff!

Jonathan Groff on Glee

Indeed, Groff will reprise the role of ex-Rachel Berry boyfriend/manipulative jerk, Jesse St. James, on multiple season three episodes, Murphy told those in attendance. Look for the character to share a number of scenes with Glee Project runner-up Alex Newell.

This is the second biggest casting scoop of the last few days for Glee. Fans can also look forward to the return of Chord Overstreet in December.

The show finally airs a new episode this Tuesday, November 1, and you can watch its official promo HERE.

Glee Quotes

Beiste: Dr. Jones said the new end of world date is September 27, 2014
Brittany: That gives us like two whole years of giving love and brutal honesty to everyone we know.

Will: I hate to say it but I think as long as you keep being yourself, your life is probably going to be a constant string of 'don't belongs'.
Unique: I know. I should probably start getting used to it.
Will: No, no. You should never get used to it. All great changes come from people who refused to get used to what was accepted but wasn't right. Slavery, gay rights, New Coke.
