Private Practice Preview: A Shot at Procreation

at . Comments

Private Practice focused squarely on Cooper this week. Or Cooper and his mini Cooper, we should say.

But other characters step back into the spotlight a bit on next Thursday's "Step One," most prominently Addison, who actually starts in vitro fertilization treatments with Jake... without telling Sam! Bad move there.

Elsewhere, Amelia will deal with a terminally-ill friend, who asks for an impossible favor; while Sam and Violet deal with a patient who refuses his anti-psychotic medication. It's all previewed here:

Some cracker hormone moments from Addie, as for the Amelia also believe this will send her deeper into the rabbit hole. Time to call in the big brother for help.

I find that asking someone to help you die, when you are able to do it by yourself, is very selfish. It's not like she's in a wheelchair not able to move, and Amelia could lose everything. I'm very happy to see Adisson going foward with the baby thing. I feel there will be a problem with a condom with Sam and that she will be pregnant with him by mistake. Like, they will be going to proceed with the in vitro and they will fint out that she's already pregnant... (Sorry for my English, French is my first language)

I think we'll get some humorous scenes from Addie's situation which is exciting. I like how there's a continuity within Amelia's storyline with her friend Michelle. I can imagine this being incredibly difficult for her that it'll be a catalyst to her falling deeper into addiction.

Private Practice Quotes

[as we see Sam having a heart-to-heart with his little dog] Her ex-husband, Sam, is an internist. You wish you had his people skills.

Charlotte: My mom always says God doesn't give with both hands. You're young, beautiful, brilliant. There has to be something you can't have.
Amelia: Some days I'd give that all up.
Charlotte: That's just the craving talking. The longer you go without a drink...
Amelia: I drank at your wedding. I thought it was ginger ale. I spit it out.
Charlotte: OK, since then?
Amelia: Nothing, but I can't stop thinking about it.
Charlotte: It was an accident. Don't let a slip turn into a fall. Get your butt to a meeting.
