@Nyka - I know. I know. I knew even writing that sentence would catch me flak. Hopefully you can forgive me for my TV error. Guess I better go grab a season 1 set and start checking out what I've missed!
@Panchita - Castiel died, allegedly. Will he be back? Who knows, but for now, all that remains is his trench coat.

This episode reminded me of the escalation of the movie "Death Becomes her" between Meryl Streep and Goldie Hawn.

Seriously! You must be the only tv critic left who has not seen Buffy the Vampire Slayer. That sentence alone left me in shock. I was so stunned I couldn't read past that declaration. Come on Sean you need to rectify that immediately. BTVS is one of the all time greatest cult classics in existence. For your own good please fix this travesty.

I think with Dean and his father, they're emotional addicts rather than physical. Dean has his guilt and John never got over Mary's death, so they drink to cope. Sam left and tries to talk things out and have 'chick flick moments' with his family, but all Dean knows is what John taught him. Bury it down deep, have a drink, kill a monster, rinse and repeat. It makes sense to me when I look back at that Valentine's Day episode, when Famine said Dean was empty and that's why he didn't crave anything. You can't bury things that deep and not feel hollow after awhile.

I have not been watching this episode as of lately but when I heard that Spike and Cordelia from Buffy was going to be on this one, I had to watch it because I love them. I enjoy this episode especially when they was knocking the Winchester's brother around like a rag doll. It was also kind of amusing that the Winchester brothers did not know how to stop somebody for once.
