Every once in awhile, someone will angrily post a comment like: "Get over it people, Charlie Sheen is not coming back!" Yet it seems to me stars have returned to other shows in the past, either gradually (in guest appearances), or full time. Besides, it's certainly not impossible to make it happen if both parties agree, especially these days! Of course it's possible!

Saw the first 3 episode and its a big let down with AK's nudity and lame joke. Never liked Alan's character due to the same lame desperate guy who can never change (getting bored of him) and now you have Charlie gone....definately will stop watching this show. Chuck Lorre need to bring Charlie back since he is the reason why people watched the show. Even his lifestyle reflects on a lot of viewers. How many of us can relate to AK's Character? Or how many of us are actually as desperate and petty as Alan??
The show was funny because it relates to real life....and its funny to watch on tv as how writers and actors spin it off to make it entertaining...

The show is so bad, and so many mistakes buttttttttt the worse is Ashton ""wife "" gosh ,,,She was Charlie's lover !!! Alan ex wife New Husband sister ....No other actress could fill that spot,,,,,strange She was already on that house on Charlies bed :)))

When the new season of Two And A Half Men premiered, I already knew that Charlie Sheen was not coming back. But, I decided to give the new season a chance. BIG MISTAKE on my part!!!!! The Comedy Central Roast Of Charlie Sheen on Comedy Central (which made it's debut on September 19th, the same night as Two And A Half Men's season opener) was A LOT FUNNIER!!!!! After watching 2 episodes of the new season, I WAS DONE!!!!! Back in the day, Ashton Kutcher was SO AWESOME on That 70's Show!!!!! Sadly, I CANNOT say the same about him currently on Two And A Half Men. Nope. The Bottom Line for me: Chuck Lorre...dude, either dump Ashton and get Charlie back or cancel the show PERIOD!!!!! Ashton's just not cutting it for me. And, I know that others (as in fans of the show) agree with me!!!!! The other Bottom Line for me: The show is NOTHING without Charlie Sheen!!!!! PERIOD!!!!!

This show will ruin Ashton Kutcher. He is usually very funny. This is a really bad character for him. And it doesn't make sense that Jake and Alan have no tears for Charlie. There was love between these family members, it's ridiculous to not show some grieving period, which could easily make for interesting episodes. I think personal animosity is interfering with the creative process here. What a shame.

THE RATINGS STARTED AT APPRX. 28 MILLION AND HAVE DROPPED TO 14 MILLION AFTER ONLY 5 EPISODES. I COULD ONLY TAKE THE 1ST 2. I'D RATHER WATCH CHARLIE SHEEN IN THE RERUNS. LORRE HAS TAINTED A CLASSIC SHOW THAT HAD TREMENDOUS CHEMISTRY AND WIT. THANKS TO LORRE'S BIG EGO AND LACK OF WRITING TALENT, THE SHOW IS FALLING INTO THE TOILET LIKE IT'S STORYLINE. BTW, DANCING WITH THE STARS GOT ALMOST 19 MILLION VIEWERS. SO MUCH FOR CLAIMING TO BE #1 IN THE MONDAY 9 PM TIME SLOT.SEASON 9 WILL BE IT'S LAST!!! (UNLESS CHARLIE RETURNS!)

This season still fills like ¨The Alan Harper SHOW & friends¨ I mean Walden doesn't have an actual important story-line and we are in episode 5 he has a company and people that work for him there you have material and more characters the 1-8 THM was all about family and well Walden just has his wife that doesn't even want him.

Ok here is how my wife and I have thought of a way to fix this plot .Let Evelyn be at the house with Allen and waldon when a knock at the door and waldon answers " Mom" then Evelyn sees this lady and they both look at each other . Then Evelyn states with a wise crack I have not seen you since I got that call from the school about you with my son in the teachers lounge . And Waldon Mom dates thanks for not pressing charges . Then Evelyn could say well dear you weren't his first .and then say Now just how many years has that been ? Then both women look at Waldon ...end that show then the next week start out with waldon's Mom Waldon's new found Grandmother on the couch explaining to Waldon who his real father was and ..that would tie everything together as a family then Waldon could say he had a Uncle mouch the story line could be saved . Now Mr. Chuck Loree send us a check for turning the story around .the way your half witted writers should have written it to begain with .

For those few who still think the new show is funny, have you forgotten that it's supposed to be a "comedy"? I know GOD create us all different, but you seriously have to be unbelievably shallow to like this season which serves absolutely no purpose for the viewers at all.

It's a fact, that the show started becoming boring even with Charlie. Now it has became a disaster. Charlie and Alan at least were related, they had their thing in common and things different. Alan was a loser, Charlie a winner, though none of them was a moral winner. Charlie was successful and knew what he wanted, which was women and booze. Alan was a wreck. They had a natural reason to poke each other. Now we have two losers, who are trying to lick each others wounds or what. What a great basis for a sitcom...

the show is now crap, it was getting tiring during the last season, but now it is crap. I will sit down and watch a rerun any day, but the new ones are just not on for me! Chuck Please Please quit now. Dont bother bringing Charlie back because, though he is a genius and could have lasted a few more seasons, the show is now dead and should be given its honorable last rights.

So much hype about Ashton but the reality is - It is so painful watching him on this show! It is an insult to the viewers to replace Charlie Sheen with this pathetic guy - he'll probably do good in porno show where he does not have to talk and 'try' to be funny. Half-way through the first episode, I just have to switch channel. All Charlie Sheen has to do is twitch and I burst into laughter. With AK, it is as if I am eternally waiting for a punch line in his pathetic dialogue. What a let down! I MISS CHARLIE SHEEN!!!

Agree w/everything BabyRotty said. Been waiting for this show to do something this season and so far nothing but rehashed plot lines and jokes. Last year it was starting to get old even with Sheen. Now, it's downright dismal. Lorre needs to put this one to bed or get a plotline that we can believe. TBH, no grief for Alan or Jake or Evelyn? Kinda hard to believe even though we know what happened in real life. Need to find something we can believe in w/Kutcher because right now there's zilch.

the animosity between alan and charlie are what made this show. The bickering, and put downs and all of that made for some great one liners. There just is not any of that with ashton. I am not saying he is not doing good, but where are those great one liners????? Where is alan's mom? What they need is a way to make it so alan HAS to be there, then they can bring back the formula that has worked for years.

So much talent to utilize ... but, the writers have fallen short. I do NOT miss Charlie Sheen and all his personal drama, and looked forward to the replacement of Ashton Kutcher. The writers have made his character an idiot (guess that is the point), but the story line sadly lacks luster. They better pick it up several notches or I only seem doom and gloom ahead ... with Ashton Kutcher sadly the scapegoat.

Not fun, total bore, very awkward dialog. I had heard Hugh Grant was being considered as a replacement...he could have been a British cousin or something, would have been a much better fit.

Haven't watched regular broadcast networks for more than 10 years but now that DirecTV includes my local channels, I'm dabbling in their sitcoms to see if they've made any progress since I went 100% satellite in 1998. Nope. The humor is facile. As if we can't surmise the tone of the scene without help. Ashton Kutcher recites his lines the same way he delivered lines on Punk'd. He cannot act. His timing is inconsistent. I'd rather watch the Closer and Curb Your Enthusiasm. I feel brain cells dying when I watch such insipid attempts at comedy, obviously written for a 5th grade mentality.

I tried to give Ashton the benefit of the doubt. But, this role isn't meant for him. They have strayed from the formula that works. Chuck Lorre should have known better. if you're gonna replace Charlie, get someone who's funny. Other wise cancel the show. Stop disappointing us "Two & a half men" fans. Or you could bring charlie back. Why fire the talent & hire the wanna be funny. You make the reruns so worth the wait. Thank god for reruns.
