Ashley on Ashley: Revenge Star Teases Mischief to Come

When we last saw Ashley Davenport on Revenge, she was seemingly taken with Tyler and his scheme to elevate himself in the Hamptons hierarchy.

But actress Ashley Madekwe wants to make one thing clear: there is a difference between her character and the young man with whom she's now aligned.

"There's nothing Tyler won't do to get ahead," Madekwe told me over the phone. "But it doesn't come as easily to Ashley. There are definitely lines for her."

Real Ashley says that fictional Ashley does want to get ahead - "She doesn't want to plan parties for the rich her whole life" - and is fed up with her position... but Emily is "genuinely" her friend. Davenport has not been manipulating the main character at any point.

On tomorrow night's "Treachery" (clips from which you can view HERE), the actress says Ashley's "frustrations" will mount.

"These deceptions just don't come as easily to her as they do to Tyler," she teases.

Will she ever find out that Tyler is gay? Or bisexual? Or... whatever it is that Tyler is?

"It's not a question of his sexuality," Madekwe says. "It's how there's nothing he won't do. But will she find out? It wouldn't be good TV if she didn't."
