Leigh: While I think that apology was a major step for Chuck, I doubt he'll ever lose the essence that is the devious, game loving Chuck Bass. Like Christina said, I also want to wish everyone a Happy Limoversary, one of the hottest scenes of all time!
Chuck has certainly turned a corner as far as I'm concerned too. What a beautiful but heartbreaking scene that was last night. I was crying,literally crying last night because of it. Blair and Chuck just belong with each other and it's a beautiful thing to watch them interact.

Loved last night's episode! It was definitely the best thus far into the season. I've really been pretty disappointed in GG up until this point, B & Louis are so drab and I'm kindof feeling like "what's the point of it all"? Dan liking Blair is just ridiculous, there is no way he would go from being completely in love with Serena to being in love with B- they are too different. Only Nate gets away with that because he gets with EVERYONE. I really like Dan and Blair as friends though. But oh last night, when Chuck apologized... HEARTBREAKING. Chuck never disappoints. Finally a Chair moment- albeit a small one... but with so much chemistry!! JUST LET THEM GET BACK TOGETHER ALREADY. They carry the show... together they are unstoppable :)

Chuck's apology, Chuck's "you've done wonders for my trust issues", Chuck's everything. When I saw Dan walking in those half drooping jeans on his melting thinning frame, I just wanted to give him a donut. I'm sorry but I just can't see someone so muppet like and dishevelled with Blair. Not that I'm sure Blair is the right person for Chuck anymore. I have come to a place where I'm loving Chuck more than all the others because simply he makes an effort. Effort.

I like this episode because it had many twists that I enjoyed watching but there were some flaws that was unbearable to watch.
I love the fact that Dair had NO interactions. This is always a plus with me.
At first like most people, I was not a fan of Diana because I felt like he was just another cougar who only wanted fame for herself. Now I have come to realized that that is still true but her past makes her character more interesting. I hope Chuck will be the one to unravel who Diana really is in the past and now based on their little scene. If he is the one to do so then that will make her storyline a lot more interesting. I will say that I prefer Nate and Diana over Nate and Charlie. On one side while Nate and Diana has that been there done that aspect of the relationship, its funnier though than Charlie and Nate. And I would have hate for Nate to have get together with Charlie for real in this episode because it shows he really is a manwhore and has not changed at all since hi

2. i hope so i miss him i want strong game playing season 1 chuck back! he was so much fun! although i do love what he did for blair by apologizing but i still have hope that they'll get back together.
3. i think either serena will quit or diana will die or something and they'll shut down the whole site but either way i think her journalism? days will me over quite soon. but i so love that she will now be working for diana and that nate is too so YAY they are now working together i guess? i hope we get some cute scenes of them!
4. i thought it was funny but a bit overdone. i want CARTER and GEORGINA to come back i love them. and carter is the only guy i would be ok with getting together with serena that isn't nate.
5. i hope so he is sooo boring this season (unless he's with chuck or blair) but ughh him and serena again?! WTF and i'm not just saying that cuz i'm an avid nate and serena fan cuz i used to love derena but i think they are so be

all the critics who may be worth their opinion, think Dair are awesome. And even if these guys didn't think that way, I do. There. Nothing else really matters to me.
I was at a place where I just wanted Dair for a little while before maybe Chair could happen. But now, I don't want Chair to happen AT ALL!! Just so all the Chair fans can get disappointed! haha.. i'm mean.
and please read the spoilers - Dair is ON! There's nothing you or other furniture-lovers can do bout it.

And you do realize the scene you're talking about was imaginary, right? Although, if you want to see an imaginary scene that's actually sexy, I'd go with Blair's dream in 2x08. Now THAT is some serious sexy business :)

I believe that right now the Chuck apology is the scene of the season. Glad to see it get some more love.
I hope you are right Eric and Inside is gone. Loved the shots at Dan by the production team. He is the king of the douches right now.
Keeping my fingers crossed that Chuck and Blair can finally reunite and sent the Prince packing.

1. I agree that Chuck's apology was hands-down the best quote of the episode, but for humor value, I liked "you've done wonders for my trust issues". I also enjoyed the use of "Zuckerberg" as a verb.
2. Chuck's growth has been my favorite storyline so far this season- and while he's far from done (well, none of them are) I think he's made enormous progress in the last 3 episodes, and turned a major corner tonight. And I really appreciate that they've kept his essential personality in the process, especially his snark and overall, err, perviness.
3. I think Serena's gossip columnist days will be short-lived (basically as soon as something happens that she doesn't want to advertise, she'll be out of work) but it's nice to see her actually having some ambition for once.
4. Blair's outfit in that scene made me want to give up on life. Seriously, there's no excuse for that. The hazing was kind of cute, but I'm not a big fan of childish, screechy Blair. Generally I prefer her in mo

Leigh: I actually cringed at this scene. I thought it was cheesy and did not represent the Blair Waldorf from the Met steps. Only thing I hated more was her outfit.
I felt the same. What have they done to this one multi-layered character!? I only saw her in that Chair scene.

It was perfection! And comparable to the limo scene - only the Dair scene was much better.
But again.. it's okay if you feel that way.. cuz millions of other fans do.

True story- when someone below mentioned being into the 5x04 Dair scene as much as the limo scene, it took me like a full minute to even remember what that scene was.
So yeah... let's be serious. I get that people like it, but it's not even remotely comparable.

I'm going to turn realist until I actually see some Dair action.
Speculated Spoilers (from Canadian promo):
1.) Chuck states "I had to kiss her to set her free" to a guy.
2.) A guy is watching Chuck and Blair kiss.
3.) Louis is not in the episode.
4.) I heard that Dan is not at the party (although I hope he comes).
P.S I just realized that Aaron Sorkin wrote the screenplay for The Social Network; irony for my compliments.
I would give more credit to Nate and Ivy. I actually like them when they are together. Hopefully they can make a good couple. The idea of Ivy becoming a good competitor against Diana is apealing.
Chuck speech to Blair was very good and in the direct line with the begining of the season. I want him to do more, way more before he can be forgiven, while staying the basstard he is in so many ways.
As far as Dair is concerned I fear we won't escaped the renewal of the so called relationship that never hapened in S4. It's a prerequisite to bring angst, satisfy some fans and give a story line and an opportunity to be even more arrogant to Dan for the second half of the season. Once we've endured that cr***, I think it'll be time for GG to stop and spare us a 6th season. Hopefully the ending will see Blair with Chuck (the only one with whom she has a real chemistry) or alone as a successfull woman, Serena with a successful longterm career, a strong Ivy and less naive Nate together and Dan dy

Really. Having been a Chair fan myself and having been hung up on the Limo scene just as much as I'm now into the 5x04 Dair scene, I think I've had enough of Chair.
I too am hopeful for Dan having his booktour cancelled next ep. and showing up at the Sleep No More for B. (However ridiculous that sounds.. I know anything's possible on our fave show!)
