Welcome to our weekly Gossip Girl Round Table discussion! Below, our panel breaks down the most recent episode (see our official review from last night) of our favorite show in even greater detail.

Below, TVF President Eric Hochberger (Gossip Guy) and managing editor Steve Marsi (Mister Meester) join writers Courtney Morrison, Christina Tran and Leigh Raines to discuss "I Am Number Nine."

Weigh in with your take on the following topics after reading ours!

1. What was your favorite quote from the episode?

Courtney: I have to go with Eric in that this was hands down the best quote and scene of the night. Although there were some other good ones, those few minutes made me forget anything that happened in the rest of the hour.

Christina: Blair: "Even Pippa knew when to pipe down!"

Leigh: Penelope: "Hello Nate doesn't have a type, he's like Derek Jeter." So true, they're both man whores.

Steve: For unintentional comedy, anytime Louis attempts to act tough. For intentional comedy, Dorota co-hazing the wannabe bridesmaids along with Blair. For pure emotion, Chuck running down the list of his past failures. And like Christina, I also enjoyed the reference to my royal crush Pippa Middleton.

Eric: Can I go with Chuck's entire apology?

2. Has Chuck Bass finally turned the corner?

Courtney: Chuck has been on his way all season to turning the corner. Not that I want my Basshole all normal and without any issues (where would the entertainment be in that), I am glad that he is becoming a healthy and functioning person.

Christina: Yes. His apology was epic. I’ve missed seeing the sparks fly every time Chair is together. By the way, Happy Belated Limoversary to all my fellow Chair fanatics!

Leigh: While I think that apology was a major step for Chuck, I doubt he'll ever lose the essence that is the devious, game loving Chuck Bass. Like Christina said, I also want to wish everyone a Happy Limoversary, one of the hottest scenes of all time!

Steve: Has he reached a point where he's infallible and incapable of hurting Blair? It's way too soon to call him a changed man. That said, he's never been as mature as last night. There are no excuses for what he's done and he didn't make any. He owed that to Blair and to himself. The key will be for the writers to find ways to continue his semi-sleazy underhanded, bad Bass ways without making him a despicable friend/boyfriend.

Eric: Both literally and figuratively I believe he did at the end of the episode. Whether that therapist had ulterior motives or not, she got Chuck to do something he needed to awhile ago: let go of that ring and Blair. That apology showed some major growth I've been waiting on for years. But actions speak louder than words. I'm not quite ready to jump back on team Chair just yet...

3. Will Serena enjoy a successful career as a gossip columnist?

Courtney: This can go either way. I have no doubts Serena can succeed in writing about herself, but Leigh is right. She will mess it up somehow, most likely trying to protect someone. I am hoping it is short-lived because I am still not completely sure I want Diana and her site around next season.

Christina: Of course! It’s just another outlet for her to talk about herself. She’ll do just fine.

Leigh: Serena will treat this job like she does her men. Enjoy briefly while it's exciting, then somehow screw it up and dispose.

Steve: She acts like she's above it, but let's face it, Gossip Girl makes a living off Serena. Might as well write about what you know, and in her case, that's ... doing gossipy stuff. My question is, in the event she drunkenly makes out with some guy at a bar, does she go home and drunkenly blog it herself?

Eric: No way, did you see that ghetto admin interface she The Spectator was running? Not even a WYSIWYG editor. How is she going to compete against sites with awesome programmers like The Hollywood Gossip?

4. How funny was Blair's bridesmaid boot camp, and which other old faces are you hoping return for the royal wedding?

Courtney: It’s always good to see Blair back in action, but it was not as much fun as I expected. Her lines and delivery were flawless but I expected a little more in the return of Queen B. Guess that’s what happens when you always have high expectations of a character.

Christina: I loved it! From Queen B to Princess-to-be to Queen B again, Blair is always amazing. As for returning old faces, I hope Juliet makes an appearance at the royal wedding.

Leigh: I actually cringed at this scene. I thought it was cheesy and did not represent the Blair Waldorf from the Met steps. Only thing I hated more was her outfit.

Steve: B was a bit over the top, as Leigh said, but she's been stifled for weeks, holed up with Louis. That's enough to make anyone want to blow off steam. Besides, with so much out of her control, it makes sense that she'd go nuts like that in her Queen B element. As for returning characters? Two words: Geor. Gina.

Eric: Amazing. Easily the best scene of the episode. I think it's pretty obvious which character I want to see return for the royal wedding. V. My round table responses have been lacking the anger since she left.

5. Are Dan's 15 minutes already up?

Courtney: Maybe his 15 minutes are up in the spotlight, such as on the bestselles list. But I also think Dan can succeed. Most likely as a small time writer with actual talent and enjoyable books.

Christina: It certainly appears that way. Then again, Lonely Boy could go the Dawson Leery route.

Leigh: No, I think Dan will see more success because he's a talented writer. That's what I hope anyway. I don't wanna see some bitchy guest star killing Dan's whole shot at fame.

Steve: No way. Any book that Aaron Sorkin was going to adapt will have other takers, and he's still going to be promoting it, right? It would be seriously lame for this to be swept under the rug.

Eric: I'm still in disbelief he even got his 15 minutes. But with the way this show drops storylines, I think Inside is off the NY Times bestseller list and the show for good. 

6. Nate and Charlie: Hot or not?

Courtney: Leigh nailed this question. Charlie is a cute girl and I’m digging her voice too! Nate is smoking. The boy is drop dead perfection on the eyes. I could enjoy these two together if they became an actual couple. Although Nate has hooked up with every series regular on the show, he is still lacking in the real relationship department. I would give these two a chance if Diana didn’t just blast the scoop on Nate and herself.

Christina: Well, Nate will always be hot. As for Charlie, not so much. So, I’m going with NOT.

Leigh: Nate is absurdly hot, so ill go with HOT. Plus Charlie's got that raspy sexy voice. I could be into these two.

Steve: Charlie does have a hot voice, and she's not an unattractive person (far from it). The problem with her character has been its utter lack of focus/believability. She needs a defining, real storyline. Make them a worthy adversary for Diana and I could see myself being a member of Team Narlie.

Eric: Not. Attractive as Nate may be, unfortunately the other half is still the Ivy. Err Charlie. Can I give a single person a couple nickname? Cause I'm digging Chivy. Anyways, Nate and Chivy? So not hot. Besides, if they got together I'd be combining THREE names. Nivy!? For that reason alone, Chivy has got to go.

7. Share one prediction for next week.

Courtney: With Louis out of the picture, there have to be some intense Chair moments and from the looks of the previews there will be. I’m predicting a B+C hookup and the news spreading on Diana’s site. Maybe a little more into Diana’s past and how she is involved with Chuck.

Christina: We’ll finally find out who the real baby daddy is.

Leigh: I think and hope that we find out a little more about Diana's past. Also that Serena finds a guy. Her love life's been lacking this season. S is too pretty for that!

Steve: Beyond what these Gossip Girl promos have teased? How about Serena being played by Diana to dish on the Upper East Siders. Surely D didn't give her that gig out of respect for good journalism.

Eric: Chuck bowed out with putting the ring on the stoop. Louis has been exposed as a bigger schemer than Blair herself. I'm thinking it's paving the way for the unsung suitor hero who just lost his 15 minutes of fame. Yeah, I'm talking Dair next week. Plus, there's masks involved and we all know how good this show is at switching out kissers ...
