Actually, that petition IS being sent to the producers and CBS regularly. They've already been sent the first 500 signatures. Also, it took the Criminal Minds petition six months, but it got up to more than 58,000 and that show is finally getting back to normal. People are not just using Facebook and Twitter to complain, they are also using the feedback form on CBS' webpage and sending snail mail.

episodes between Lori and Steve. The harder they try to make her likeable the worst it gets.

Sorry, no-go on the Lori Fan Club addition here.
In fact, what meager liking I had built up for her over the last 2 episodes went spiraling back down the drain after this episode, when I saw that Kono was once again shunted to the side while Lori got the front seat (literally... of the helicopter too). Oh, and speaking of the helicopter ride - were they just flying on home without Kono? So confused. If not, how hard could it have been to film the ride AFTER they picked up Kono? I'm starting to think Grace Park might've done/said something to alienate the H50 writers... cause they are just ruthless on her character's screentime this season. Makes me hate the show a little more.

@angryfan....see that is the problem, we fans of this show are stuck watching her cause we dont want to kill the ratings and lose our show. Like another poster said, we are being held hostage in a sense. We know if we stop watching because of her we could be the reason our show is cancelled. I love this show too much to do that. SO every week I have to grit my teeth when she is on and focus on the postives. But bottom line is I want kono back and lori gone, period!!!!

@drats....very interesting indeed. Hopefully the lead (alex baby) of this successful show will have a say and she will be gone and not extended to stay. Seems us fans are not the only ones who do not like her. Thanks for that behind the scenes info. It does not suprise me at all that she is a diva.

I think I may practically guess what PL has in his mind.
As far as I'm concerned the majority of the viewers who do dislike Lori are the people who started watching this show from the very beginning,and of course I am included.
We knew this show from the first second of the first episode in the first season. We've been watching how it gradually grew into a successful and hit one. It's just like we saw a baby take his first step with our own eyes.
But PL doesn't care what we think at all,he may consider 'oh I have more
people who started watching from new season like Lori.So you don't like my creation,you just fuck off.'
I read many comments here said they wouldn't quit watching because of one character.So you see,as long as it's high in the ratings nothing will change.People who don't like Lori have to put up with her.That would be awful if we had to watch every episode with hate and grumbling,coz the high-ups will never give a shit about what we feel or what we need.

The actress who plays Lori: Constructive criticism: LEARN TO ACT! Botox face is not going to get you anywhere. Writers: Learn to LISTEN! The fans want her off the show, it's that simple. She has no real reason to be there and the 'googly eyes' as someone mentioned above is not going to fly. Her character is poorly developed, poorly written and poorly acted. Why the hell are you putting up with this character? Bite the bullet and cut her out. I honestly cannot watch the show anymore and it's because of her. I want Kono back, I want the show that I fell in love with in first season. Sorry, but there...I said it. I feel better. And if the writers or producers don't see these comments...oh well. At least I got a chance to vent. Thank you.

@cutiecutie...just because there are not alot of sigs does not mean the majority like her. I cannot be bothered to sign a petition that I know the writers are not ever gonna see. Those fans who do not want her on are in the majority not the minority. It would be better time spent calling a cbs line and voicing are feelings towards lori then sign a random petition that no one will ever see.

the proposal was a nice touch.Glad that Jenna was brought back to explain herself. But one part i will surely never rewind is the end where Lori hugged Steve.I'mm sorry her contact with Steve is to awkward to see.Think about it if the writer put Kono to jump out and give a small kiss to Steve.The rating would be great.I know i will be rewinding the eye contact between Steve and Kono in episode 9 before looking back this end of episode 10.

H50 Truth, was it fun typing up your hate list for Lauren's character assassation? I found it to be rude and disrespectful.
There is such a thing called constructive criticism and if you haven't put it across that way to the producers/Peter Lenkov then how do you expect them to take notice.
Also, the get Lori off H50 petition - there are approx 550 signatures on it with over 9 million viewers. Who's the majority there?
@Mike. Its interesting that you should say that coz I also have a friend on that crew. Hes actually the reason I started watching which is why I am so late to the H5O party. I really do try not to repeat what he tells us but I am making a small exception here.
He says Lauren German was very cold towards the crew initially. She treated them as the hired help instead of as colleagues either snapping at them or ignoring them altogether. FYI this includes not just the floor crew but makeup & wardrobe. You have to remember that they are accustomed to Grace Park (who he calls "sweet"). When the news of the fans disaffection first hit the set, she brought someone with her to filming (a handler?) to be a buffer of some kind I guess. Then she did a sudden 180 and began reaching out to not just crew but background actors too. He says she became more pleasant but no one is surprised that the camera is capturing an iciness about her.

@Tony...I agree...as long as alex is the lead the show will be fine. He is the reason I tuned in in the first place and he never ever disappoints. Just an incredible talent!!
I dont think people mind that people come and go but those ones should be in the baackground not on the forefront. That is what annoyed most of us. Give her a backseat and maybe we will all chill. The core four need to be the focus no matter who comes and goes.

The original show lasted for 13 seasons. In those seasons, several characters came and went. I think people are overreacting to a show that's only in its second year.
This might be more of an ensamble than the Jack Lord version, but the main focus still still Macgarrett. If people don't care about what's going on with him, they won't care about the show. I like Grace Park, too, but at the end of the day, the show will still go as long as Alex O' is the lead.

@Shirley. Peter L has his head in the sand. His ego will hurt this show but not enough to keep it from being renewed. The numbers are heading back up to first season numbers so pretty sure they will be safe for a long while. People are watching in spite of lori and gritting their teeth waiting for her to be killed off. But that is not the point...he should care what the fans want. The fact that he does not care is infuriating!!

@Martinelli...that is exactly how I feel. The ending of this weeks epi was the absolute last straw for me and actually made me wonder how long I can hang in there. Kono being left out of that last scene was a disgrace to her and the fans!!!! ANd the lori googly eyes at steve in the helicopter was over the top annoying!! So glad he looked away!!!!

@Mike...I heard the same thing. Many fans who went to fan events are posting that they were hoping when they met her in real life it would make them like the character of lori more and they said meeting LG just made them hate lori more. I guess she is not a likable person in real life either.
I would imagine that the behind the scenes is very tense right now. Can you imagine how they feel about grace park being put in the background for a character no one (or very few) are warming up to. I would think especially Alex would be PO'd. This show is his baby.
Posters who say we are overreacting to her character obviously like her but those of us who dont are letting our frustrations out online. Where else can we???

The Lori character is awful, and the actress is boring and bland. Is she even an actress or a glorieid model? I don't understand why the writers and producers are trying to ram her down our throats. And EVERYONE agrees that Kono should have been on that copter--not Lori. This was a great episode up until then.
Does Peter L. even care if HFO is renewed? Or is he too involved in other projects? Poor Alex and rest of cast.

One thing I have to say: how is it possible to leave Kono out of the returning team at the end and to end the episode like that? How is that possible? All four members of Five-o, plus the army guys were on that chopper and Kono was left at that house where she was monitoring the convoy.
Till now, reading the reviews ppl complaining about Kono being left out I said it's not so bad, but now I am really angry. This was a capital mistake. The whole meaning of this episode was "all for one and one for all", "teamwork", "together" etc. and Kono is nowhere at the end. Unbelievable.

The writers seem to think they are doing a fine job with the so called character development for Lori. But the majority of the audience think differently. After 9 episodes her character is still one dementional and extremely boring. How long do we have to wait for her to become interesting or for her role to have any significance on the show. I couldn't care less about love interests if she was an interesting character or if she had some purpose on the show besides having a crush on her boss.
Where are her profiler skills. I thought she was meant to keep the guys out of trouble not JOIN them at the first opportunity. Her character brings nothing to the show. Just takes screentime from the characters that do matter and do have a purpose. Lori Weston is just window dressing and I don't understand whey the producers insist on spending money on a character that adds nothing to the show, in fact she distracts from it. I really hope they get rid of her soon.

I really loved this episode. It was great to see Steve been rescued by the others intead of him being all "Ninja" as Danny would say. I feel that some people are being a little too dramatic about Lori Weston, and are not making valid points about her simply because they dont want her as a love interest. I don't love her, but I don't hate her either. While a little romance would be nice, that's not the main concern. What we need to see from the writers is more character development for Lori. Giving her a personality and a background would make her character better, and at the end of the day, more fun to watch.
As for the romance between Lori and Steve; it won't happen as Steve has too much to deal with right now. Wo Fat is still out there, and there is also the little matter of what Shelburn is. I think we need to give Lori a chance. Let's hope the writers do something with her character and give her a little boost in personality. If this doesn't happen by the end of season 2, then I

Tamara..I really hope that they are not right but they may be. If his ego is this huge that he is not listening to the fans you are right, he will be the downfall of this hit show. Usually when fans are this outraged the higher ups listen and they they move swiftly to calm them. I guess we wont know until her contract is up, if he keeps her on longer then we know he is giving us the middle finger. That is when we will need to decide what to do.
I think you are right, he is messing with the actors careers and that is not cool.
