@fenn: Stefan is hott too, and nobody cares that Nina and Ian are dating. Bice try though, just face the facts. Your ship is sinking faster then the titanic and the competition hasn't even started yet. Delena was more popular BEFORE Nina and Ian started dating. They were KILLING stelena in the polls way before they hooked up off screen also.

urgh, it's so funny, LOTS of people are rooting for Delena ONLY becos they have the hots for Damon ie Ian. Well, personally, i LOVE Ian too, and i think Ian and Nina makes a GREAT couple but that doesnt stop me from believing that, characteristically, Elena belongs with Stefan. Somehow, people tend to blur the lines between reel vs real so much, it's crazy. Tats the problem with having a really great actor owning the character, people jus blurred the lines and assume Ian = Damon. I've seen that too often. And then they hope they get together in real life too, which they do sometimes, and thats the cause of Hollywood pairings and breakups.

To the last commentor: Right?!! What's left of Stelenas fandom are shakin in their boots. Nobody wants them back and Stefan gets high praise when he ISNT around her. I can see the light at the end of the tunnel. A fanbase must be popular to because endgame, problem #1 of a million for Stelena. P.s. L Stefan: Delena hasnt even started yet and Elena has deep feelings for the D man. How can a true Delena shipper give up on endgame when they haven't even begun? Oh wait, that friend is imaginery . So happy Delena won and happy Chair got some love also. Would have rather seen a stelena vs delena poll though. Delena usually wins those with 75 to 80%.
