Ready to Meet Another Original?
We still have far too long to wait until The Vampire Diaries returns on January 5 - but at least we now have a juicy nugget to contemplate during this hiatus.
As first reported by Michael Ausiello, the series will flashback yet again on the 13th episode of season three (scheduled for January 26), this time to 1491, where we'll meet another member of the Original family.

Klaus and Rebekah's brother, his name will be Finn and he'll have gotten very close to Katherine on at least one occasion... if you know what we mean!

I remember the part when they first said that season 3 will be the season of originals and yes it might be more mysterious to see more coming around Klaus's family tree. It will probably make any episode go insane of events but I can't wait for the return of the epidoes. =P

Finn was a common viking name, so its not that werid of a name.

Finn could be shorten version of Finn's real name, because when klaus came in 2x19 klaus real name is Niklaus.

well, I figured they wrote some extra names on the wall so they might decide later if they bring them in as characters or not... which leads to the same - I guess..

@ elena winchester. I dont think they made it up "last week". When Alaric took pictures of the viking runes in the cave the name "fynn" or "finn" was amongst them. ;)
so they made it up two or three weeks ago.

Why the hell is every Original linked to Katherine?
Wasn't Elijah a big fan of her, too? (I remember something that he didn't want to kill her back in time while breaking the curse..)

@Rose: yup.. but, Rebekkah's story revealed that there were only 4 siblings. Which makes the tv series sometimes inconsistent with their story line.. anyway, can't wait til January 5.!
