Lizzie: Its obvious the DE pairing is shifting. She is all.'bout it and Damon is pulling back. He's trying his best but they can't turn back, when they BOTH finally give it and let go.....that will be epic. Loved the episode .....forwood, delena and Rebecca.

I had a feeling Katherine would show up when Damon told Mikael that she had told him that Mikael liked "vampire on the rocks"..which meant she had to have talked to Damon since we saw her awaken him.
The scene between Elena and Rebekah (completely took me by surprise) and Klaus and Mikael were my fav, I actually found myself hoping for Klaus to be victorious in the showdown against his father before he had his Damon/Stefan/Elena confrontation.

Great episode loved it!Gotta say though wasn't feeling d/e.Im a huge damon and elena fan but for some reason their chemistry wasnt there this episode.weird.It felt a little forced and wrong.Idk.Now stefan and katherine,those two had some great chem this episode.Loved their car scene.An loved the ending!Theres a new badboy on top and his name is Stefan!!!

Katherine was in the tomb with the body of the gravedigger she had killed to bring to mikael, so she wasn't totally alone with no blood in there (remember, mikael doesn't drink human blood, so there's a perfectly good body just waiting to be used)! plus, vampires heal! also, even if there had been no body for her to feast on, hello?! she's in a crypt...there are rats! as far as the stake is concerned, only daggering an original will kill you if you are a vampire because the daggers had to be charmed (i'm assuming this last bit, but it's a logical inference); but using the stake would have no consequences. the flashback is actually a clever maneuver on the part of the writers because it throws us off completely...did you really think a plan would actually work this time? whenever there is a plan, you can bet katherine will be there to screw it up. and we all know katherine is probably on damon's speed-dial because who better to trust with a murder plot than a self-centered sociopath wit

damon couldnt die because the stalk was carved out of a different wood that only michael had...thats why michael couldnt die when he stalked klaus.

WOW!!Amazing epi!!!Paul Wesley and Joseph Morgan shining as brilliant actors!I love stefan as the hero but no one knowing it,and Klaus as the villian with a heart.Wonderfully portrayed!!I look foward to everyone finding out that stefan is back and with a vengence no less.An cant wait til stefan and elena reunite.Loved how even through everything he's still thinking of everyone but himself.WOW!I LOVE STEFAN!!Seriously though this season has made me a huge stefan fan and a huge klaus fan.Brilliantly played Paul and Joseph!!

Ummmm I was kinda disappointed in this episode for many of the same reasons that the reviewer lists. Wasn't Damon gonna die anyway if he staked an original? Why does Elena stay out of this plan when she never has been able to stay out of any of the others? Are they holding out on us for really good Delena scenes in order to increase ratings? Why can't Katherine die like all the other kickass characters that come and go on this show? Now that the original papa vamp is dead and mama vampwitch

@tvshowknowitall: But Katherine woke Stefan up and fed him blood, someone was there to nurse him back to health. There was no one around to take care of Kat in that tomb after Mikael attacked.
And just saying Damon called is exactly what I mean by a "plot device." Katherine just shows up whenever, wherever and it can be written off because Damon just called her? That's pretty weak.
when klaus compelled stefan to 'turn it off' he never told him that he couldnt turn it back on whenever he wanted to; just from that moment, stefan hasnt wanted to feel again. i think its more up to stefan now that he doesnt have to obey klaus to turn his humanity back on

I liked the episode for the most part. I actually like Rebecca hope to see her in the future. She is going to be pissed....when she wakes up. How is it that Michael is dead already. I thought Katherine was Elena the hair and how weird Matt looked and responded to her gave it away. Damon is pissed and you can tell the brothers are always going to have this I m always saving you thing. Not a fan of Delena but kiss already or something enough with the longing looks. Love Forwood but come on Caroline he can't help it. Stefan is playing with fire....he should wake up Elijah to make the revenge plot so much better.

Great episode. How cute is Matty blue eyes. Another episode of Damon and Elena, touching each other. Getting old real fast. I used to love the Stefan and Elena but every episode had Damon either hiding in the shadows looking at her, complaining to anyone who'd listen he wanted her or he'd cry, alot. I say let Damon have Elena. Her boyfriend gave his life up to save her ass and all she has done is chase the dudes brother.

I miss Rebekah already and I felt she had great chemistry with Stefan. He needs a strong female vamp to be with, he and E were to blah. He's ok with Kat....can Rebekah come back? I'm getting antsy for Delena and I never thought Id like them at all.

loved this episode.i understand why stefan saved klaus even though he wanted him dead and i understand why katherine helped him with it.i loved the damon and elena scene at the end.i felt bad for rebeka but i understand that elena had to do it because she could have turned on them and save klause even though she hates him but he's her brother and they might pull the dagger out of her later for some reason which would be nice to see her alive again.at first i was really mad when damon used the stake on klaus but then stefan stopped him and klaus killed michael i was just like how could stefan do that but then i was happy to find out that stefan did it to save damon.i liked seeing the part with katherine and elena in the car and her saying that she helped him because she loved him and she loved damon i also liked hearing her say to stefan that even though the humanity is turned off it's fighting it's way out and somtimes she let's it out and that she wanted stefan to let it back out beca

Okay I felt like they needed someway to take away stefan to make room for damon and elena,It's just it's sad that the whole reason why he,stefan is in this whole ordeal is because he saved his brothers life and such.Look I love stefan and elena I think they are good together but I'm more stefan so I will always root for him,elena can be with anyone for all I care,Stefan deserves someone better.Julie Plec said at comic con that they will turn stef the hero to an anti hero I hope they get to the point of really unmasking the layers of this charcter fast it's beoming tired,rebekah could have been a good match for him also she's strong and vulnerable at the same time,too bad she was staked.But heh I love stefan in anyways.My opinion so no need for name calling or the usage of the "c" and "r" words those are just crass and wrong.We all have our favorites and the whole shiping war is ridic this is a tv show.Peace.

I missed Stelena in this episode. I think DE is becoming a bit forced now, I love their banter, but I think this season should be revving towards SE getting back together! I agree, I thought the reveal was a little lazy, but still shocking! Don't know how I'll make it to January ahhhhhh!

Katherine got back to Mystic Falls because Damon called her (he admitted to Elena that Katherine was part of his plan). She possessed strength after her blood loss the same way Stefan did, by drinking human blood.
