I was sad that Sophia ended up being a zombie, but I'm glad it's finally over. I think that now more than ever everyone will see that they need to stay in ONE PLACE to protect themselves and any other survivors they come in contact with. Moving from place to place is only gonna get you dead.
@Dexter, yes, I was confused as to how long Sophia had been in the barn as well and the fact she wasn't shredded as well. The only thing I can think of is that she was 'bitten' and got away and then 'died', but why didn't Herschel and the others tell them when they found out about the barn that the little girl they've been searching for was in the barns? At least Maggie could've told Glen, she told him pretty much everything else. Maybe they're saving that for February, cause if I were Carol, I'd want some answers! Also, how in the hell does Dale know Shane shot Otis? Does he have super night vision or something? There is no way he would know! Please explain this in February, I'm really curious.

Even Shane is thinking he is losing the leadership of the team (which of course, he was never a leader for the group from the point of view of Daryl) I hope in the last 6 episodes remaining, Shane get toasted, and come on, put Sophia during the first 7 episodes whereabout as a mystery, only to end as a zombie, doesn´t look good to me, fuckk it!!!!!

I thought Sophia being a zombie is just ridiculous. Waste of screen time and film trying to find her. I like the show and I don't wanna knock it, but I found it to be complete rubbish. So many clues and potential of finding her and thinking she's alive, only to be in the barn, as a zombie - to which Glenn didn't see when he was looking at them from a birds eye view - so I found that to be a plot hole. As well as the fact that Sophia was barely gone 24 hours and was managed to be put in the barn, become a zombie and caught by Otis/Hershel/another farm member in the time Rick and his crew were looking for her. Furthermore, look at how small and defenseless she is. If a zombie got her, she would have more likely to have been shredded by a zombie than bitten and getting the chance to run off and become what she is now. I'm just finding the taste of this mid-season finale stupid.

i was so nervous when shane open the barn doors, it was the best 10 min of the entire hours but the end, you are right when you said that the sophia storyline was kind of long and boring. But the end of it was so unexpected. i kinda have hope that they will find her but she ending like that was sooo sad, it was painful like you said. i hope for the second half of the season that Shane doesnt loose his mind like he did in this episode, maybe he show more of his soft spot, also he needs to get over Lori once and for all and maybe hookup more with Andrea.

All I gotta say is WOW. Wish it was already February. I do love the show but love the comic of it more. Maybe this is the step where Rick will now be the leader and everyone look to him than to Shane.
