The Vampire Diaries

I know I'm not alone as a Caroline Forbes/Candice Accola fan here. I'm sure most of this will be preaching to the TV Fanatic choir.  But that's fine, I'm not here to convince you to vote for Caroline. That would be too easy.

I'm here to appeal to The Vampire Diaries fans to do your part to make sure Caroline wins TV's Sexiest Female Sidekick.

First, we need to form a united front. I love Katerina Graham as Bonnie Bennett. She's absolutely adorable and needs plenty of love for what Jeremy did to her last week. But it's like a vote for Ron Paul, it's not going to do anything but cost our party the victory. So please, Katerina/Bonnie lovers, join the rest of us TVDers and put your support behind Caroline!

So, why am I on Team Caroline when ladies from three of my other favorite shows - Chuck (Sarah), True Blood (Pam) and Community (Britta) - are in the mix? Because Caroline Forbes is more than just the pretty face that Candice Accola brings to the table.

Her character is bad ass, radiates sexiness and has grown in front of our eyes. Remember when she was the ditzy, popular, insecure cheerleader/play thing of Damon in season one? Compare that to the vampire that physically confronted Damon, stood up to torture from her father (only to later rescue him) and is one half of the supernatural power couple, Forwood. It's truly been one of the best, most enjoyable character developments in television history.

So let's show our love and support for this incredible transformation. Plus, give her the much needed credit for holding her own in the looks department with ridiculous competition from the most attractive cast television has ever put together. Yeah, I'm looking at you Ian Somerhalder and the insecurity you caused all fellow males.

Oh, and did I did mention she can sing?!?
