@Kendalf: I’m glad Chuck apologized for all the horrible things he’s done to Blair in the past, and I think she should forgive him, but I don’t think she should take him back. It makes her look very weak and foolish. I’ve seen many Chair fans complain that Blair is too watered down now, no longer fierce and independent like she was, yet Chuck pushed her around and punched a glass window directly behind her, scaring the crap out of her and showering her in glass, yet two episodes later she was cheating on Louis with him and ready to run off with him (again). How is that smart or independent? It makes her look like those foolish women who stay with men who abuse them because their love is just “passionate” and “all consuming”, as if that makes the abuse okay. Oh and let’s not forget moody Chuck who started snapping at Blair when he was going to lose his hotel, and thus offered her off to Uncle Jack for sex in order to save it. His apology for that was a nice touch, but

I love Chuck and Blair,they are definetly my favorite Tv couple.Can't wait to see them share more scenes together and I'm loving Chuck's storyline this season!

@Paula Seriously, I'm baffled by why they're even reading an article that they're guaranteed to hate, based on the title. Why don't you just go to a Dair article and talk about how awesome they are? (although I know it's kind of difficult to do that without bashing all over Chuck, since it's pretty much your only argument)

Second of all, Leighton's opinion can always change even if she ships dair or blouis at the moment.

We have no right to expect Gossip Girl to be a paragon of morality, or even realism, but the idea that true love requires taking a shard of glass to the face is disturbing even in this alternate, soap-opera dimension.

If this article "upsets" Dair fans so much (we all know why it does, and it has nothing to do with their made up reasons for hating Chuck)then why are you reading it? I know many of you lack logic and reasoning skills, but common sense? If I see an article about a subject I don't like, I don't read it! Crazy talk, I know. SMH.

Love this article and I agree that Chuck and Blair are the best teen couple. It hasn't always been smooth or easy but it shows how great their love is that they can (or at least hopefully can) work through all those issues. I think the apology scene was a great re-start moment for them.

Oh woww! you pretty much summed it up how GG fans think (majority).
The great loves are the crazy ones. They are irreplaceable and GossipGirl showed us that perfect relationships are the dull ones which make you yawn. Chuck and Blair are the crazy love but they are even more crazy for eachother.We all know they are endgame because they have to be after all the crazy cruel obstacles they got on their path.This crazy great love has made it worth sticking around this show for 5 years not anything else. their unconditional love has serious depth with passion, caring, understanding, sexiness, intimacy, sincerity, emotional, dramatic yet comedic.

I agree with everything said here. At the end of the day, even with their rocky past and all the obstacles they have to overcome, there's just no denying their intense love and passion. It's always been them for each other, no other couple even comes close.

@Kandalf: You're abusing me for stating the obvious. Leighton's comment is meant to prove that even the actress herself believes in the possibility of Dair. All I can say is that my point of Chuck being abusive stands, considering how terrified Blair looked at the end of their encounter, and how quickly she got out of there. However, the show is sending a mixed message at best if they're going to defend his actions.

DexterIdolizer, your hate for a couple is more disturbing to me than anything the writers have done on the fictional show. Chuck adn Blair are meant to be. I'm sorry Dair fans but you guys do not have a shot against this couple. Leigh is right "Let’s get this show on the road kids. As Blair herself said at the end of season four: “The great loves are the crazy ones.” And you two are certifiably, undeniably and perfectly crazy... for each other."
