Golden Globe Award Nominees: New Girl, Homeland and More

at . Comments

Breaking Bad is not nominated for the 2012 Golden Globe Award for Best Drama Series. That simple fact should make it clear just how ridiculous The Hollywood Foreign Press Association can be.

So prepare to be confused and angered by the nominations that were announced this morning - and pleasantly surprised by a few: go New Girl! - for the January 15 ceremony, which will be hosted by Ricky Gervais...

I can't believe so many people believe Revenge deserves a nomination. The concept of revenge is way too simple, and everything is just too convenient. There is a gulf of class between revenge and the nominated shows. Really hoping homeland and game of thrones pick up loads of awards. Can't believe it was just their first season, and we are already so immersed in it.

If you're going to nominate a TBBt actor, why GALECKI? Parsons people!

Wait... How was Breaking Bad NOT nominated for best drama? I wouldn't mind seeing Homeland or Game of Thrones pick it up (the other award could also be split between Breaking Bad, Game of Thrones, and Homeland and I wouldn't complain), but that omission is wow... like... just wow.

What about Parenthood? Best acting and best writers on television. I just can't believe they are left out!

Only Stowe for Revenge???!!!! Emily and Nolan, aswell as the show should be up. Oh and GLEE for comedy?!! WTF. Its become cheezy and has zero direction or plot. The musical numbers aren't even that good anymore.

All i can say is once again Sons' is snubbed!! all the other shows are bullshit compared to Sons of Anarchy especially after series 4!!!

I can not believe NCIS didn't make it again this year. Same ole same od Still no NCIS one of the best on TV and it keeps on coming back year after year. Who makes these decisions?? They have the best actors than any of these other shows.

Hollywood politics is responsible for nominations.

Golden globe people better start looking at what the people like and not the same old tired shows! NCIS is stil Number one with the fans, but NEVER mentioned....and this year has some great new shows that deserve mention...Person of Interest, Revenge, Once Upon A Time, Suits, Alphas, etc..sorry, don't see where your awards nominees reflect the general viewing audience!

this is sad to see some of the same shows win all the timeand the new ones that is on is some better than old 30 rock and glee or modern family every year.
