Homeland Preview: "The Vest"

by at . Comments

Homeland went boom last night, with Saul and Carrie's plan to expose Tom Walker blowing up in the faces. Literally, in the case of Carrie, who concluded the most recent episode of this Showtime thriller in the hospital.

With just two episodes remaining this season, where could things possibly go next?

To Gettysburg, if you're Nicholas Brody, as he takes his family on a trip there during next Sunday's "The Vest." But the following promo makes it clear Brody has an agenda that goes far beyond a mere history lesson. Carrie, meanwhile, will react to the latest mishap by going more manic than ever before. I'll try this again, having some trouble posting this. After watching Episode 10 again last night, I observed Agent Galvez entering Brody's house as a Secret Service Agent. How can you be both a Secret Service Agent and a CIA Agent? Not unless you're a mole for Nazir. Perhaps he put in some surveillance equipment for Nazir to make sure that Brody is following his mission. Also, Sahrani seemed truly shocked by the comment by Saul about the terrorist plot on the roof. Galvez was the one on the roof alone, perhaps he was given orders by Nazir to say that you could see Marine I from there, and that was all just a red herring, to divert the CIA away from the real mission of Nazir! Also I believe that there may be a metal chip or something in Brody so Nazir knows his whereabouts at all times, so Carrie is in danger. I think that Galvez may have been the one with Walker to make sure that Carrie was near the bomb that was being detonated. Galvez could have pointed her out to Walker. There would be no love lost between Walker & Carrie, since Carrie was with his wife when she tried to have him trapped. Galvez has been mysteriously missing from the CIA recently, could it be that he's busy being a mole for Nazir??

After watching Episode 10 again last night, I thought I observed Agent Galvez (and Carrie's assistant) entering the home of Brody as a Secret Service Agent. I don't think you can be in both the CIA & Secret Service, unless you're a mole for Nazir. Perhaps he planted surveillance equipment in Brody's house, to make sure Brody follows Nazir's mission. Also, I thought that Sahrani seemed really shocked when Saul mentioned the "terrorist plot on the roof", remember it was Galvez only up there. What if he'd been given word from Nazir to say that you could see Marine I from there? What if that was all just a red herring, to throw the CIA off Nazir's real mission.\ Also, I think that a metal chip might have been placed in Brody when he was roughed up, so they know his whereabouts at all times. This means Carrie is in danger. Also, was Galvez with Walker when he detonated the bomb? Seemed like he waited until Carrie was nearby, and Galvez could have pointed her out to Walker. There would be no love lost between Walker & Carrie, as Carrie was with Walker's wife when she tried to trap him. Galvez was with Carrie in the car when she was following Faisel, so he could have warned Faisel. Galvez was with Carrie when she went to the Mosque. But he's everywhere except at work at the CIA lately, because he's too busy being a mole for Nazir!
