Ncis Christmas
While i don't consider it one of their best christmas shows . It does open new areas to develope. You got to love Palmers sweater, and Jimmy standing up for the gang to his "A" would be father=law. Only Abby would be able to put thos two on a time out. Tim and Tony cookie scene wsa the best for humour. Finally Ziva fight scene brought out the badass she is suppose to be , while Gibbs delivers a baby {girl). Admit Zivas fight a lttle over kill.NCIS still the best on tv.
MERRY CHRISTMAS.
No one has mentioned one of my favorite bits of humor: in the clothing store when Gibbs and Ziva catch up with Emma, she questions Jethro about being a marine and he gives her the "how do you think I got this haircut?"...if you don't remember it, check the replay,...classic Gibbs!!

I loved the cookie interrogation. that was the best part. I lmao. I still remember on e from way back when. He was sitting playing tetris on his phone and the guys was getting so frustrated he just started talking. Got to love Tony and his interrogations. freaking hilarious.

More Larry! I wanna see Larry Miller again, but utilized better. He has much more to offer than we saw in this ep. I really enjoyed the Agent Lee/Palmer side story from a couple years past and was glad to see Palmer get some more attention this ep. Tough to pull off the sweater-vest. As Demetri Martin once said, "Life vests save you from drowning, bullet-proof vests save you from being shot, and sweater-vests save you from pretty girls". Breena certainly blows up that quote.

Sorry-but I found this episode amazingly good-Gibbs connected not only with the pregnant Marine but reminded us of the young Jethro that knew his way around a car-which made the gas station scene work for me. As for Ziva and the fight scene-I thought it worked. So did Jimmy in standing up to his jerk almost father-in-law, love the time out! Other shows should take note as to how to do a holiday episode from NCIS-still the best!

AJA: Oh, boy, you said it! Ziva and the bad guy are 12 feet apart, she's firing TWO guns to his one, and all 3 clips are emptied, and still THEY BOTH MISS? WTF? Then she hurls her five-foot-four-inch, 100 pound frame onto his six-foot, buck-eighty-plus, and kicks HIS ass? Ole!
I like this show; actually, I'm a huge fan. And I can deal with the schmaltz, especially since its Christmas. But this "superhero" stuff is a little over the top. Maybe things will settle down when they come back in January.
Gotta love Jimmy P, though. He's a peach, isn't he?

I found Ziva's kick a$$ scene embarrassingly bad. It reminded me of some fakey heroine scene from a show geared to attract adolescents. Sorry. It ruined the episode for me.

Well agree with critic on one word 'pridietable". Broke down and watched to see what they would do for a Christmas show. They didn't do much. Didn't even make the nerd a true hero.

Loved that Jimmy Palmer had a real part and enjoyed the McGee and Tony scene. Sorry - Ziva was a cartoon character Yikes. I wish they'd allow others besides Ziva and Gibbs to know everything and to have some action and be the heros. I just had to roll my eyes in that fight scene. It was silly.

"Don't PUSH!!!!" was hysterical when about to burst with baby marine wants to help push the car. That was the line of the night along with Ziva's "I've got your ass, and the wires were 'sauteed' - No fried," says Gibbs and then she goes out to shoot gangsta style with 2 guns! NCIS rock&roll and fun for all. When a show is so sure of its charm and fans they can do cheesy/funny/touching all at once and be okay.
Larry Miller has played some awful sarcastic dads and killer dads too on Law and Order, he's always wonderful to hate. But when Jimmy tells Ducky he's been offered a job at the family crypt -uh- funeral home, poor Ducky looked shell shocked.
I was a bit impatient with the show, but the fun overrode the cheese and Tony being an idiot, yet coming to Gibbs was an amazing end.
Oooooo-rah!

Ziva kicked A! She was shooting in the dark and the whole firefight bought time for the baby to be delivered. Gibbs had his weapon nearby if Ziva failed. You can bet he was torn between helping Ziva and delivering the child, afterall, he could hear the shoot-out. Ziva is super and we can never have enough of her. I love super-Ziva. She isn't foolish like Kate was, which ultimately led to her death. Ziva trained to be savy. She is a lean, mean, killing machine. She gives 100% in every situation. She has surprised the viewers many times with her skills and tactics. Gibbs is all man and it is about time tv has a leading man be manley and awesome!

I so agree they are turning Ziva into a super hero at time. It 's like the other team members cant do the job or know what they are doing. So not true.
Go Palmer stick up for your self and the team. If you didn't I was waiting for Tony or Abby to say something b/c they would. After all Abby put you and you father-in -law in a time out.
I loved the end with Gibbs and Tony. He is so a father figure towards Tony. He wanted to make sure Tony didn't turn into him. He want's more for Tony than just this job. Tony needs to live his life and not look just on the past and what if's in his life. And Gibbs will make sure of it.
(love Tony in the elevator dressed casual it make him look younger ans mor realxed wish he would dress lie it more often)

OK, I posted a really wordy review...but on the wrong thread so will condense it.
Loved the episode overall. Cheesy is good for a Christmas ep.
I didn't mind Gibbs delivering the baby over Ziva. As a midwife, Ziva is probably a better assassin...
Love Ziva, but, come on! They're turning her into a comic book character. She's more Wonder Woman than agent now. That gunfight was just stupid.
Larry Miller is a comedian?? I know he is, but what a waste. For a show that prides itself on its comedy, this character was totally flat. But GO Jimmy!
We need some fun, challenging cases (they don't ALL have to be a murder). I'm really worried that it's turning into the "As The Squad Room Turns" soap opera.
This is MH's last year on his contract. What with all the regrets he's expressing and his over-the-top daddyisms, it looks like he's setting up his departure in some form.

I like Ziva its just I would like for someone eles to e a hero. I wonder iff Tony will ever go and talk to Wendy I hope we get to met her.

The episode was just ok. I loved the way palmer stood up to his father in law and the look on Gibbs' face when it was decided that he had to deliver the baby was priceless. Ziva's gun battle was just too far fetched since she's the best shot on the team. I feel like Gibbs has had an ephiphany this season with his realization that he has to get out of that basement and get on with his life. I'd like to see him smile more and maybe get involved in a relationship.
Franks: Over the years we do some things, some good, some bad. Decisions that help one person can hurt another. Gibbs: Damned if you do. Franks: In the end, ...
