Special Grey's Anatomy Episode to Ask: What If...

at . Comments

What if Derek and Addison never broke up? What if Ellis Grey never suffered from Alzheimer's? What if at least one victim from the Seattle Grace shooting survived?

Grey's Anatomy will ask all these questions and more in a special February Sweeps episode that will take place in an alternate reality, according to Michael Ausiello, one that brings back Kate Walsh and other series alums.

Shepherd Spouses

Remember when...

Everyone will be "affected,” by this hypothetical dimension says an insider, though no word has been given about how or why these what-if scenarios come about.

What do you think, fans? Is this a cool, fun idea? Or - like many felt about the ill-fated musical episode - is it a desperate ratings stunt for a show whose numbers are slipping? Sound off now!

Oh i hope we get to see George or Izzie. Grey's Anatomy CANNOT do an episode without one of them... or else...

Anyone think there's a chance they'll bring Isaiah Washington (Burke) back?

Do not bring Dr. Hahn back, it gave a very annoying vibe for the episodes she was in, because she was always so miserable and her voice kind of freaked me out.

That would be so freaking awesome if they brought back Erica Hahn!!!!!!!

Oh and remember, Derek rehired everyone that Richard fired when he became Chief in episode 613. Remember the scene with April and Megan?

actually, a quarter of Lexie's class is still at SGMW. Go back to 6x03. This show isn't about their interns. If it was, then the show would have to also introduce the other residents and attendings in the hospital which would totally destroy the show cause this show isn't really about doctors. It's about a group of interns that competed against one another, went through difficult trials together, and how they developed relationships and grew up because of it. And if you focus too much on the details, you'll go crazy because there are a lot of inconsistencies in the show. Just accept and enjoy the ride. And intern Steve, now a resident, was in episode 707. I really don't know how this episode is going to work if Izzie and George aren't there. Because my biggest "what if" questions are: What if Alex and Izzie were still married? What if George and Callie were still married? and What if Denny didn't pass away? aaahhhhhh endless possilities!!

the only season regular that is coming back is addison and one mercy wester it is also set in meredith's point of view

dr. hahn was an awful woman. please do not bring her back

Bring back Dr. Hahn! She brought a lot of good tension to SGH - maybe she ended up with Mark (instead of Callie)! Brooke Smith is such a great actress. Kate Walsh of course, maybe Meredith with Finn, Richard with Ellis.
Burke was a jerk, but maybe it would be good to see how he and Christina would have turned out.

I think this will be awsome..I loved the music episode aswell, and I think a what if episode will bring alot of fun to the show. I love Greys and I think these imputs are brilliant, so I'm looking forward to it!

Grey's Anatomy Quotes

Did you say it? 'I love you. I don't ever want to live without you. You changed my life.' Did you say it? Make a plan. Set a goal. Work toward it, but every now and then, look around; Drink it in 'cause this is it. It might all be gone tomorrow."

Meredith (closing voiceover)

Derek: I am calling post-it, Zola, Bailey, the tumors on the wall, ferryboat scrub caps. I thought D.C. was everything. I was wrong. You... you're everything. I love you and I'm not going to stop loving you. I can't live without you. I don't want to live without you, and I'm going to do everything in my power to prove it.
Meredith: I can live without you, but I don't want to. I don't ever want to.
