A "klick" is the military shortening of the word "kilometer" which makes sense given Taylor's military background.

We still like this show. I agree on the scene with Zoe talking to Taylor and giving him a hug. That was just plain out precious!
We are looking forward to the next season. Hubby said, "I wonder if they'll find a stargate in the badlands?" (snort)
As much as Dan dislikes this show, I enjoy his reviews. Thanks!

You must not pay much attention to this show, Mr. Forcella. You mentioned 'that woman we had never seen before.' Do you mean Reilly? She's in just about every episode!

Good point, @Ragsdell09! Critics are absolutely responsible for the public not watching a TV show. How dare they express honest opinions after an episode airs!

You should be fired Dan Forcella. Reviewers like you have tainted Terra Nova with your absurd criticism. The only thing this show has done wrong was airing during MNF. It would be a shame if the show is not renewed for a second season.

The show was well acted and well written. Once again it's the "stand by your friends and family" feeling that I love about this show, in particular the relationship between Taylor and the Shannon family. I was well entertained whether it was with it's quiet scenes, shoot em up scenes or the tense, will they make it out scenes. It was all there. Love this show!

The largest issue I have with the tvfanatic.com website, is that there were man nice moments looked at in the reviews of shows, that could have been great if they weren't part of a reviewing website that - in general - is just not good.

I agree with Chanel, all you do is complain and complain. I have read and written reviews before. I wrote the review for every episode of every season of prison break. Even when the show began to die out, i still reviewed it with a positive light knowing there were people who wanted to know how the show was going on rather than what I felt.
If you are going to complain every single time I suggest you get another job. I agree the dialogue has been sub-par but the acting has been anything but. The story line, as misdirected as you may think it was, it had an aim and point it was trying to get across and the cliff hanger at the end? Come on even the directors of Lost would have wanted to steal that.

I and my son have really enjoyed watching TerraNova this season. We watched every episode and we both hope it will be renewed for a second season.

I don't know why it took me till no that this show is a lot like avatar. Going somewhere and trying to extract things to bring them back and be rich and they dont care who or what they destroy as long as they get what they want.

A"klick" equals 1000 meters. Never in the military?

I'm getting tired of reading your reviews cause all you do is complain about the show none of the reviews for other shows do that. They review the show and put in there opinion here and there but not like you. Hopefully nexr season either someone else takes over for its reviews or you actually review what happened instead of just complaining

As much as I want to like Terra Nova, it is slow, slow, slow and deadly dull. Tonight's season finale was two hours of dragging slowly through plot points that were revealed mostly in past episodes.
The villains are a corporation and not a branch of the government? Color me extremely disappointed, this is just a PC message about faceless corporate greed - after all, the only villain's face we've seen has been Lucas. And Lucas is fine, but not terrific.
As you said in your review, there were some nice moments. Little Zoe with Taylor was cute. Lt. Washington had a classy exit... but she was one of the few characters that wasn't bland and who I liked quite a bit. The mother tricking the corporate villain was a good moment as well. But these small moments are minimal. A sci-fi show should grab you and remain interesting, and Terra Nova is just floundering in slowness and boredom.
I'm sorry to say, because I want to support sci-fi when I see it, I really won't miss this ser
