ABC President Paul Lee announced a few time slot changes to his network's schedule during today's Television Critics Association panel. To wit:
- Scandal, the latest drama from Shonda Rhimes, will premiere on April 11 after Grey's Anatomy.
- Private Practice will then shift to Tuesday nights for its final four episodes.
- Don’t Trust The B—- In Apt. 23 will debut on April 5 after Modern Family.
Lee summed up the decisions rather simply, telling reporters:
“We are using our number one drama to push the launch of Scandal, and we are using our number one comedy to push the launch of Don’t Trust The B—."
As for Cougar Town? Nope, no return date still. But Lee said you can "tentatively" expect it back on the air in March. Altogether now: SIGH...
