So next week, either we get a fake royal marriage with a fake priest... or Blair realizes the depth of Dan's feelings (and that Louis didn't write his own vows) and runs away.

Liked seeing Blair have a bit of fun this week, hated that Serena didn't make it to the party. Really hate and resent that Chuck and Father Cavagalia (sp?) are in cahoots? Goodbye, Chuck redemption storyline, which initially wasn't even to GET Blair back, but to try to move on. I guess that Chuck has to just perpetually regress. Writers, what are you going to make Chuck do next, torture small animals? And how are you going to plan his next demise? He's been shot, almost attempted suicide by jumping, in a motorcycle accident, and in a town car crash. What the h is next?

nate is the only character who didn't bug me this episode. yay nate! serena is too desperate for dan...that's so creepy how she lied to him. wow. and the priest/beatrice thing was way too sudden. that's just ridiculous. this show's writing is abysmal.

i'm still going to watch next week (of course. who isn't?!) but I have a bad feeling about what's going to happen. I really want Chuck and Blair to finally get together, but if he's going to be a 'villain' and there are all of these other things going on, I don't know if it's going to happen :( I hope I'm wrong.

ugh @toohip I agree. this episode left me really sad. I think it's out of character for Chuck to randomly team up with that weirdo priest to 'take down' the wedding. hopefully he doesn't do anything mean. wasn't him not being a villain the point of his character growth this season?! what was the point of that if he's just going to go back to his old ways?? disappointing, to say the least.

ugh don't get me started on dan. what a tool. he blamed Chuck without any evidence besides the fact that he was there. I hate dan!! and that was annoying that he wrote the vows for louis. seriously, he should've told blair that louis asked him to write the vows, so blair would know that louis wasn't sincerely in love with her. can't stand him.

Overall the episode did provide good comidy for me but it ended in a flat note as well. This episode did built up some suspence for the next one but it also mislead us and now I am disappointed and annoyed. I of course will continue to watch GG for Chair because I know they are endgame, but for now I am angry that Dair is still pending, Blair may marry Louis, and she is still true to her pact with God.

One MAJOR reason why I did not like this episode was because Chuck was just there but did not do much. My Bass is the best actor so he needs to be front and centered with Blair. In this episode the writers wrote him to borderline a stalker and that was it. So this was where the episode lost major points with me. Also, why didn't Chuck come to the police station? And I thought it was unrealistic how Chuck came to her house AFTER Blair went to bed. Seriously? Blair was drunk, Serena must have had a difficult time PLUS she was up reading the vows! Clearly Chuck would have been able to come when she was awake.

The highlight of the episode was definitely the bachelorette party at that restuarant I cannot pronounce or spell. How did Beatrice know all those things about Blair to tell the other girls? Although I hate to say it, but Blair getting arrested was more for comical relief then it was important to any storylines. It was just there for laughs, it didn't do anything really for the fans. I so would have rather Beatrice's plan succeed do it can get Chair together. THAT is what we want to see. I still do not understand how the priest would lose his position if Louis marries Blair. In the beginning of season 5, I disliked Beatrice but I was completely rooting for her and the priest because their plan was to ruin what we all wanted to see end; the royal wedding and unite Chair. But when she had a change of heart, I was disappointed. For once, someone grew a conscience when I did not want them to.

THIS MAKES NO SENSE: When did Louis ask Dan to write his vows? Why did Louis ask Dan to write vows? How did Louis go from thinking Blair was having an affair with Dan to asking him to write his vows? Why did Louis even ask Dan???? SERIOUSLY HOW DESPERATE ARE YOU GG WRITERS TO GET DAIR TOGETHER THAT YOU ARE WILLING TO FORCE THIS AWFUL NEW PLOT????? I very do much want to hear these vows because Dan definitely does not know Blair completely. SO FAKE. UGH I AM SO SICK OF THESE BAD AND DESPERATE STORYLINES USED TO ONLY KEEP THE BEST COUPLE; CHAIR, APART. I really dislike how Dan was so quick to assume that Chuck tried to sabotage Blair. This doesn't really make sense either because he knows Chuck loves Blair to why would he think Chuck wants her to get arrested? Dan is and will always be so judgemental. I hate him so much.

Yeah, Serena loves Dan so much that she lied to his face about the column and their fake relationship, if the writers wanted to jump start the incestuous relationship they ruined, having Serena pathetically pine after him was not the way to go.

As of right now I am rooting for Serena. Yes I feel bad because she wants Dan who wants Blair. BUT at least her new plan can keep Dan from Blair.
The whole Vanderbilt storyline has never intrigued me so if this episode marked the end of the Vanderbilt's tension then THANK YOU. Good
OMG, ENOUGH ALREADY ABOUT DAN'S BOOK (S). It was boring when Inside got publised so I can care even less for the next one, and that is IF it comes out. I do not understand how Dan immediately knew where Blair was if Serena didn't even know until Blair called her. That was a major flaw I saw. Are the writers that desperate to get Dan to be where Blair is just so Dair fans can hang onto whatever little hopes there are for their couple that they are willing to twist logic and create something so unrealistic? LAME!!!

This episode bothered me a lot for various reasons.
First off, to see Serena and Nate scheme AND succeed at that was very funny to watch. The interrogation of Tripp was hilarious because they shot it in a way that made him looked so small compared to the other three. I couldn't even really listen to what he was saying because I just kept rolling my eye at how unrealistic it is that Nate and Serena are SCHEMING!!! And of course Serena's first action right after finding out about Nate and GG was to send HER blog to the Spectator. She didn't even bother reading the rest. LOL. Oh Serena, you are so selfish.

I'm not looking forward to next week at all, I think they get married with a fake priest and we resolve nothing. I think Chuck and Blair as we know it are done for a while if not for good and that really upsets me. To me this episode was not any better than last week.
