And where are her parents; Eleanor and her 3 fathers???? WHERE WAS DOROTA????
A few storylines I wished didn't get carried over to 2012 were:
    -Dan's book
-Rufrus and Lily only talking to each other
-Blair's hair since the beginning of season 5
    -Dan's muppet hair
-Serena's straight out of bed/sex hair hair
-Louis always pouting his lips when he is angry.
Anyway, we can definitely say that the best scene of the night was the last Chair scene. Ed and Leighton just work so well together that you will just know you will get teary before they even speak. There were just so much emotion.
I love Vera Wang!! I have the full Lovestruck perfume set and it is amazing. I liked the parrallels between Blair and Vera and Leighton and Vera.

And I definitely did not miss Serena's facial expression after she kissed Dan at the party. LOL. Rejected! We know why Blair is avoiding Chuck. But I still don't understand why Blair felt the need to avoid Serena as well. At least include her in her secret. And I feel as though the secret was built up a lot during this episode that when Blair actually got around to explaining it to Serena, I was disappointed. I was like...that's it? One coincidental moment happened when Blair was praying made Blair decide to let Chuck go? Honestly the secret was more ridiculous than it was boring.
By the end of the episode, I looked back and was confused at the beginning. Are the writers seriously that desperate to drag Dair on, that they forced her to go see him in the middle of the night, while it was raining outside? I still don't understand why Dan was the only one she did told.

Not the best episode we have seen after coming back from such a long break.
First off, Lily hired Andrew to look for Charlie, only to mistaken her with the REAL one who is currently in NEW YORK. I don't understand why Carroll is trying so hard to hide her daughter from the rest of her family especially after putting up this big facade with Ivy only to allow her to work? in New York. Rufrus can't possibly have forgotten what Ivy/Charlie told him at the hospital about not really being Charlie.

the episode was a really good episode, even though i'm a chair fan and they didn't get together i still really enjoyed this episode. Gossip girl sometimes needs these kind of serious episodes. (next week it is obviously going back to its unrealistic ways)
i felt really bad for chuck in this episode and i know he will never give up in her.
dan was really nice to blair in this episode. i like them as friends but don't like them as a couple. i personally can never see them together as a couple and i think that would really ruin the show. they have a great friendship, the writers shouldn't ruin it by making them get together.
chuck and blair were amazing in this episode. the actors did a great job. especially their last scene was very moving and touching. chuck has been in love with blair for a while but now it's more than before.

It really annoys me that Gossip Girl drops storylines completely. No one explained why Jack called Diana or what her connection to Chuck was. (or why she'd even care if he's been in an accident)

This was the CHEESIEST episode of gossip girl ever, seriously I couldn't believe my eyes, at moments I thought I was watching a bad soap opera... It was beyond ridiculous and unbelievable since the beginning with Chuck and Louis ganging up on Blair, Louis trying to out Dair in public and HUMILLIATE his fiancé and just when I thought I had enough cheesy drama then comes the freaking nurse opening the doors like and angel with that cheesy ''heavenly'' light and Blair expleaning her pact with god. I seriously can't believe why do I keep watching Gossip Girl, everytime I watch it I feel like the writers think im stupid enough to believe their crappy storylines.

I think we didn`t see everything that happened that night. I think that Jack is somehow involved with Chuck and Blairs no relationship policy. In the episode there was some un answered questions about a blood transfusion, needed from family or something. Serena told that to Blair... Chuck only have one family member that we know of, Jack...
So I think she made a deal or someone did that means that they can never be together...
Because this pact with God about her relationship with Chuck seems a bit far stretched. Something else is up, I think the church thing is just a cover story!
Actually surprised no body else mention it yet.....????

    1. quote- "Just because we can't be together doesn't mean I don't love you." scene- all chuck and blair scenes (also really liked the derena kiss)
    2. couple- CHAIR....
all of the rest i really didnt care about..

Charlie showing up was crazy unexpected. If she's actually in NY and normal, why keep her hidden? Maybe she's GG? Kind of out there... Yes, but it would explain GG's focus on Serena's life. She could've been in NY this whole time. For the Humphrey/VDW clan... That would be pretty unforgivable.

Which "couple" was the episode a greater disservice to, Chair or Dair?

Ans: It really is interpretative in terms of romantic or just plain misleading.

God and serendipity is now the cause for Chuck and Blair not getting together (and here was I thinking that the writers couldn't of anything else). Whereas, I think Dair is the result of Blair over utilizing a much obliged Dan as her crying and comfort bag.

Only in the GG universe is marrying Louis considered 'penance.'

Nate went from being handsome to being handsome, smart and powerful. And he's on a mission. It's beyond "cool" at this point, now it's AWESOME.

The real Charlie was kind of a surprise. I thought she was dead. Or locked up in a mental hospital somewhere. Or in some country far far away. Definitely not at Julliard. The new Charlie better be less annoying than the old Charlie.

Favourite scene - Blair crying after she found out she lost the baby. Real pain, I could hear her heart breaking. Unfortunately it lasted only for about 10 seconds… and then the writers decided to drop the subject.

There's a lot I can tolerate, but when they try to put God in the equation, things get too serious. I don't want to mock Blair, I understand she feels responsible for Chuck's well-being, after she begged his way back to the land of the living. But since when God's goal is to make people miserable? The whole "deal" (and the fact that she believes this is what God wants from her) simply makes no sense. Using God to keep Chair apart and drag the-most-annoying-prince-ever story line for the next million episodes is not cool. Why not put devil behind the wheel here and say it's his way to make everyone unhappy and force Chuck to switch his dark side back on again?

Blair loosing her baby - I don't even know what to say about how they handled that. The biggest disappointment of the season.

i think the real gossip girl is going to be the real charlie rhodes, she always watched her family from far......

    1. Favourite scene: The countdown scene, the music was perfect and the look on Dan's face as he watched Blair was absolutely heartbreaking.

    2. Greatest disservice goes to Chair. Chuck has been essentially ousted while at least Dan still has her friendship though as a Dair fan I find Dan's unrequited love heartbreaking.

    3. Biggest copout: The pregnancy being addressed and forgotten. I can understand her pact as being the irrational action of a woman who has lost her child and almost losing the man she loves.

I totally agree that Louis needs to go! I thought the episode was good overall, but I am also disappointed with the lack of taken opportunities. As a major DAIR fan, I got really excited thinking that they were having an affair or somehow the baby was actually Dan's . . . but found out that they were sneaking around to go to church. :(

Serena is much weaker than Gossip Girl. I would not send her my gossip either. She also has too many feelings that would get in the way of her reporting. (Dear Serena, Dan is as much of your brother as Chuck. Stop kissing him. It is gross.)
