@amazingalex...Not only you count me in also better yesterday then tomorrow they gave Lauren a contract for 12 episode and extended by 4 more they didn't do that with the Jenna Kaye character they first wanted to know if the viewers would liked her wish they had did the same with the character of Lori Weston, Lauren was choosen out 4 girls who all played a scene with Alex O'Loughlin and they thought they picked the right one who would fit in the team and accepted by us fans WRONG!! choice on all parts. I can see they are willing to change Lori is not another female McG or a love interest for Steve anymore and last episode Lori certainly had less screen time hope this contiune and that she is gone after 2,17
The ratings are still good H5O is one of the most watched show but they will listen to us give them time guys next season will ROCK! again!
What is going on with the site I can't post anymore!

Ratings are the only thing that matters to the Powers That Be up there. As long as ratings are up, then Ted Bundy would be able to stay on the show. If ratings drop, THEN they scramble to figure out why and who to point the finger at. That's the name of the game.

@Martinelli..yeah I think you are right, they dont make much difference. But I do think the cbs complaint form you can fill out does make a difference. They say they read them all. The networks care very much how the shows are doing. It is a cash cow for them if they have hits on their hands.

@Lena & @Amazingalex - Like I said before, it's a different character for everyone. Some like her, some don't.
This is a part of the petition letter: "STOP THE PETITION AGAINST CBS, EYE PRODUCTION TO REMOVE "LORI WESTON" FROM THE SHOW HAWAII FIVE 0" is from TEAM H50 to show its support and trust to H50 show runner Peter M. Lenkov, its writers and cast.
To be honest, I don't think we bother much people with these petitions. This "Get her off the show" is going on for a long time ans she's still here so ... it is just for the statistics.

@Lena..yeah your probably right. There were far less complaints about jenna and they changed directions with her and killed her off. Why cant they do that with lori? Maybe they do need time to adjust things. I just think if something or somebody is not working you fix it ASAP even if it means rewriting some scripts.
However it is obvious they have seriously changed the direction of her character. She was supposed to be a male mcg...(could not be further from it), and she was supposed to be a love interest for steve..they seemed to have backed off that.(thank goodness) Maybe they are listening to us. I guess for some of us we want her gone like yesterday, or that might just be me. LOL!

@martinelli..why do they feel they need a petition to keep her. Isnt it obvious that they are ignoring us who want her gone? What do lori fans have to worry about.
@amazingalex
I think we have a voice. The problem is the changes we want can not be performed earlier than in the next season when the pilot airs the whole season is planned out.Peter Lenkov and Company can only make a few changes in the last part of the season just like they did with Jenna Kaye last year so I still have hope we get or wishes and I bet the last 5 episodes will safe this season for me.

@Zia, I will agree to disagree :)
And just to throw gasoline on the fire, I'm kind of expecting a Lori/Danny hookup... first handcuffed together, this week sharing high school stories... just saying :)
I love this site to and this season there is alot to talk about we can see many more comments are posted here in comparison to season 1 we had harly 20 post after a episode then, now we have almost 200 in three day's LOL
I think it's great to read everyone's opinion about the show.

@lena..I miss all those things too. So much I cannot express it. I feel like I am in mourning over this show. It can still be fixed but not if they want to keep writing it like this and not if they keep ignoring us. We fans know what made this show special. We should have a voice. What made it special was the family feel to it. It has not had that this season. SIGH!
The cliff scene did not bother me all that much. It was supposed to be for comic relief but fell short a bit. Maybe cause we should have been let on to the fact that he was only feet from the sand. But of all the things that bugged me about this episode this was not at the top of the list at least for me.

I think many of us like different things about the show. I'm not an avid fan of Steve/Danny and I don't watch for their car arguments or even their interaction. I watch for the entire team. I like the Steve/Danny interaction as much as I like Steve/Chin or any other pairing. I think there's been a good balance this season and I've enjoyed it all. The only person I have no time for is Lori. For me the relationships havn't changed. I still feel they are close and like a family, but they have more to deal with. The show has just gotten more serious. So I can't say I want anything changed except for Lori to go as she's not needed.
I agree with you that scene on the cliff bothers me to Steve is still a seal he ask to transfer to the reserves in the pilot season one, so for me that means he is still a Navy Seal and can called Lt.Commander but that gives him no right to throw someone off a cliff IMO! But like you said it's TV and anything can happen on TV this is still me favorite show on TV but some changes are needed to get back how it was in season one!
To all the girls who want that Ian stay's on H5O sorry I don't want him to stay this season sucks mostly because of all the new characters they put on the show thats why we don't see them as normal people anymore as Danny walking in Steve house or going for a drink together I loved the things we all love the most - the carguments, the interplay between Steve and Danny, the balance brought by Chin, Kono's bad-assness. And I loved that they were family - ohana. They had each other's backs like a family and a team should.
We've been kept out of Steve's house for the most part this season. And that means we are less grounded in them as people - people we care about, people with lives, people who love and sleep and live like the rest of us. Now they are Action Figures with barely any internal lives at all. I have copy this comment from Tkeyla Sunset LJ because she said perfectly what I wanted to say.

@jschoi - I had a good laugh. Let's set things straight. When I mentioned Kono I was thinking of Danny giving her the spa package, that's all, nothing more. I know Kono is not stupid. She would have never agreed to be handcuffed, that's for sure. :) Not to mention a relationship with Danny. No way, not for all the tea in China.

@Martinelli....I like Danny. A lot of people think he nags too much. That is what the character is suppose to be. Danny is the joker, Steve is serious, they work well together and the relationship has softened the character of Steve a little, and a little of Steve has rubbed off on Danny. That's what the writers are doing well. Danny/Lori? It could be a way that they may want to keep her on the show, but I can't see Lori as the step-mother type to Grace. I hope they don't do that to that child. Then why was she going after Steve? I suppose you could be guessing right.

Well, Lori is a different category, we all know that. To tell you the truth, I don't really like Danny either. I like it when he's with Steve, they are having fun teasing each other but otherwise I don't like him.
I try not to think about it but still, there is something I can't get out of my head. I have a feeling that this Danny-Lori thing will be explored in the future. Just think about the hotel handcuff scene. Danny asked Lori to benefit from his spa package, he could as well ask Kono but he choose Lori. Now they were working together. Will there be more or I am just imagining?
