@Zia - Thanks, and on some points I agree with you. Even though he's not my type, he's athletic and he looks good.
I guess I have to deal with my problem somehow, have no choice. :(

@Martinelli.....I was not suggesting that you did not know the story, I was just pointing out that he is forced to be in Hawaii, and that is why he has a lot of anger issues which is shown in his acting. There are others that feel the same as you, they find him nagging and whining. I just disagree. Also he may be short, but he is in great shape. They have only shown him once with his shirt off, but he is not bad in the abs area. Not AOL, but not bad at all. You have a right to your opinion and to express it.

@Zia - I know his story, I've been watching H50 from the beginning. I know he's part of H50 and H50 can't exist without him. I believe you this is the way they speak in the New Jersey. I know he's the opposite of Steve, and that is why they work well together but I can't change how I feel, how he's way of speaking makes me feel. Like I said before, unfortunately I can't explain exactly what I am talking about.
I tried to suppress it. I tried to ignore it but yesterday made me so angry I had to quit watching the show. I think we all have something we don't like, this is mine.

@Martinelli.....I have to disagree with you on Danny. The way he speaks is how they speak in the New Jersey, New York area. The actor, Scott, is from Los Angeles, but his father may have come from that area, I'm not sure. I think he is a very good actor, he is able to show emotions with a look. The character was forced to come to Hawaii because this is where his ex-wife married and brought their daughter, so he is frustrated and misses his family back in New Jersey. He is the opposite of Steve, and that is why they work well together. If you take Danny away, you take a big chunk of how the show works well out. The writers this year concentrated on Lori for too long,(without success), and Danny was pushed aside. They have been correcting that in the last few episodes. You may not want to watch 2.14 and 2.15 because there is going to be a lot of Danny.

I don't think the show is boring. I like the plot line, it keeps us guessing. It has dragged out a little long, but hopefully it will be worth it. The repeats in-between make it seem so much longer. The promo for next week makes me think that they may end the Yakuza going after Joe. Maybe that is how they reveal Shelburne? Who Knows.

Yesterday I finally was forced to admit I hate Danny. Tried to deal with it, to hide it, to ignore it but I can't any more. Unfortunately my English is not good enough to explain it properly but I can't stand the way he speaks. I expect people to speak clearly but what he does is anything but speaking. Why can't this guy just open his mouth and speak normally like others? Why does he have to do all those faces and noises while speaking? That does not make him, any sexier or smarter. I guess he's frustrated because he's the shortest.
Yesterday was aired that episode where his brother is in Hawaii doing some dirty business and escapes at the end. I just couldn't watch it so I choose Covert Affairs instead. I love Auggie, he's character is amazing.
At least you Lori "dislikers" have some hope to get rid of her, I don't. He will stay here definitely.
I was wondering am I the only one in this position?

Maybe the Senior McGarrett is not his real dad
and that the steve's real dad is Shelbourne.
Shelbourne is not the enemy of Steve, it is only that of Wofat and Wofat is the enemy of Shelbourne and Steve.
Would complicate things necessarily, but it would strengthen and maintain the plot until the end of the season.
Of course, this is just my imagination :-)

@ Jeffrey
Lori is my only problem with the show. Other than her I'm very happy with how season 2 is progressing.
@ cate
The show is far from boring for me. I find this season more exciting than last season and every show has its implausible moments. I can't wait to see how the Shelburn thing plays out. I also think Steve is awesome this season and it shows how great an actor Alex is. I just wish we didn't have all these breaks.

So it's not just the Lori character, there are other big problems as well right Cate!

agree the show is getting boring - too many implausible, cliched plots, too little of the character interactions that made the show so much fun last year, draging the Shelbourne mystery out too long without giving us any further clues to keep it interesting, and now grim gaunt Steve with the prospect of the remainder of the season being all angst ridden Steve whilst whatever this mystery is gets brought to the season ending cliffhanger. Soap opera show.

@Zia, true that, Ziva only started season3. Theyve shown that theyre a big big part of each others lives. so if Hawaii five-o still runs after season 4-5 i wouldnt mind it a bit. Yea CIray's back T_T

@HFO...I think Tony and Ziva on NCIS flirted at times, but she has been on that show for 7 of the 9 seasons and they are just getting to that now. She is getting proposed to tomorrow night, not by Tony, so if they want to wait 9 seasons and then bring in a team romance on H50, then that would work for me. Hopefully someone else other then Lori.

@Zia..Yeah it probably is far fetched I just had a feeling about it recently. It seems like something the writers could do that they would think we would not see coming. But IF it does happen dont forget who guessed it?? LOL!!!

@amazingalex....I don't know if they would go that way. Lets say they did, then does that mean that Joe has been hiding Steve's mother, and she just told him Steve was his son? I would need more convincing, but anything is possible in TV. I hope his mom did not have an affair while married to Senior.

@Zia, Hawaii Five-O wont be ready for a teasing romance for at least 2 season i reckon, look how long it took to develop Tiva on NCIS, Hawaii five-o has so much more to explore before anything happens

@Jeffrey.......you might be interested. I just saw a review of a movie that Lauren German is in called "the Divide" which is due out this friday. It's about a nuclear blast. I came across it as I googled, "hawaii five o review", its actually a review on SPIN OFF ON LINE, by Keri Luna. It not a great review, but there is a short preview that you can view.

@Zia..he is like a father trying to protect his son, they will do anything even if it is unrealistic I suppose. That is actually why I have had thoughts that he is actually steves real dad. I think I am the only one that thinks that though. Just something about the way he calls him "son". If he were his real dad it would have to be written that he did not know until recently. He could never have known it and still been his leader at the seals.

What I am is speculating about is the possible exit of her character without making her quote miniorty few fanbase upset, it makes everyone happy!

Wow my head is spinning. You guys really think these things out in regards to shelburne. I am too confused to figure it out or maybe too lazy. In one week we should all know for sure. I am impressed with all the research you have all done though. The only thing I know for sure is I do believe strongly that joe is a good guy. He loves steve like a son. He is trying to keep him safe.
@jschoi...LOL!!!! Whatever it takes to get her off H50 is fine with me!!

@jschoi.....LOL, Alaska 49, good one.
@Jeffrey.....Are you her personal manager? I can't see the Lori character able to maintain a spin off. Lauren German may find some other show she is good at, if they decide not to keep her, but I a feeling she is not going anywhere.

I don't care what it takes to get her off H50, if a spin off works I say go for It. How bout Alaska49.

What if Lori is a part of a launch campaign of a spinoff of H5O like Ncis/Ncis LA, or CSI franchise or Law and Order!
