@Martinelli.....I think they are one off, because her 12 episodes started on 2.2 which brings her to 2.13. An extension of 4 episodes would give her 2.14, 2.15, 2.16, and 2.17. If the only four extensions is true.

I just visited a couple of forums, and people are celebrating already, they think Lori won't be in 2.17. Reason: her contract was extended for 4 more episodes and ends with 2.16. I don't know if they are right but it's not just us who want her gone.

@Martinelli......I remember PLenkov tweeting that Steve is in the reserves and we will see him being called up. He had tweeted that we will see a little of that in 2.16. So maybe at the end, and then it goes onto 2.17 since its titled "defend". (I'm just guessing).
I saw James Caan might be recurring, I hope so, he's a great actor.

Maybe the less we know about ep 17 the better, if Lori is leaving in that ep they probably want it to be as much a surprise as possible.

@Jschoi.....yes, I think with the big Shelburne Finale, and the NCIS LA crossover, that pretty much takes care of the end of the season.
I have not heard anything about what 2.17 is about. I know 2.15 is Danny's old partner, 2.16 is Chin and Catherine, 2.18 is James Caan, 2.19 Mary comes back. Has anyone seen anything on 2.17?

I remember reading in an interview with PL last season, him saying something about a relationship for Kono. It may have got lost in all the other story lines this season. Hopefully something will happen soon, although at this point I think it most likely won't happen till next season.

Yes, you are both right. I would like to see more of Kono also. She needs a life outside of 5-0. Hopefully if we get more time from less people, they will throw another story line her way.

@Zia - I know he did not mention Malia by name but I think Chin will have some problems at home. You're right, someone needs to have a stable home life and I also think it's about time for Kono to do something with her personal life. She's the only one not having a life outside H50. (Lori does not count.) :)

@Zia...Don't forget Kono had to go through the same stuff Chin had to go through. Her time off HPD was shorter, but the danger she was put in was greater.

@Martinelli.....I remember the interviewer asking PLenkov why did he take Chin off the market. PL responded saying that after all the stuff Chin went thru with his Uncle and HPD that they wanted to put him into a good place, but that doesn't mean everything is going to be great. I don't think he mentioned Malia specifically. I guess episode 2.16 when he gets in trouble with the governor is what he meant by that. I hope Chin has a happy home life, someone on the show needs to have a stable home life.

@Lena, Zia - I hope I'm not mistaken but Lenkov said Chin's life won't be shiny and bright all along, he's going to have some problems with Malia. Am I right?

@lena...absolutely no problem. I was wrong. I always thought they were to inform us who was starring in that particular episode. Now i know. Thanks for the correction. :)

The interview was great. As I said before we all read into things differently, especially when we read them, as opposed to hearing the person say it. It makes a big difference. Although, you can get some differing opinions there also.
PLenkov also explained one of my pet peeves, with the re-runs. He said that they know at the beginning of the season when they will be pre-empted and when they will need to put in re-runs. This time of year is where there are a lot of re-runs, and its not because they are behind, its just what the schedule is for shows today. He indicated that he knew this frustrated people and that he hopes people stick with the show. He explained this is why they give out some of the information ahead of time to let people know what's coming up and hopefully they will watch the episode.

I have listen to the interview Peter Lenkov had with Mike Buck was one hour long really nice the best part for me was round 34 min when Peter said that we would be happy how it go's between Steve and Catherine and it would be put a smile on our face and that they are working it out with Michelle to have her more on the show I jump from my seat of happiness. Is it February 13 yet! wanna see these two lovebirds!!!!

@amazingalex..Sorry that I have to correct your post to @jeffrey... but the sides you mean are the Press Release which we get for every episode and we indeed know who starts in it.
Sides are casting calls which will send to Casting Agency so people can do auditions for it, or if the producers want a special actor for a part like Tom Sizemore then the sides will send to his Agency's and in these sides stays mostly with who they will play the part. That Lori is not in the 2.18 sides means sofar nothing maybe she doesn't have to play a part with a guest star. We have to wait for the press release for 2.18 for we know for sure! Again my apology that I correct your post.

@martinelli.....EEEEEEEE!!! I am sooooo happy. It has been tooo long since we saw a shirtless steve, ha ha!! Seriously though I really like katherine with steve. It does sound like they are trying to keep her on. Thank goodness! I think she is such a good actress and so beautiful. I cannot believe she cut her hair though, she had gorgeous hair.
@jschoi....yup. You are not the only one. I was seeing red for a minute there. I really need to chill!! :)
From what I am reading the interview was actually really good.

I'm glad to here they are trying to work something out with Michelle Borth. The timing of her return in relationship to the end of LGs contract on ep17 can't be a coincident. I think this makes it more likely LG is leaving.
@amazingalex...Glad to know I'm not the only one who becomes incoherent when they get angry. LOL.

@Zia...thank you thank you!!! Reading it made it sound completely different then how you said it went down. That makes more sense and I am so happy to hear they want to keep katherine. I love her. And lenkov stayed off the lori subject so that could be a good thing.
