@Zia - I don't know what to say. I'm afraid this whole "diplomatic incident and someone will pay for it with his job" thing is just as bogus as Shelburn was and we'll end up with all 5 characters, again. Just think about the promo videos: they are made/cut in a way to make us think what they want, but that's not what will actually happen.
We can't take anything for granted.

If Chin is the one who gets fired and even he gets his job back I'm going to be pissed. I'm sick and tired of Chin and Kono taking the fall for everything.

@Kelly - I know you don't like this Danny-Rachel thing, I think you told this before (I think it was you). It is a bit strange, I admit. But the thing is, if Rachel is going to leave Stan, Danny will take her back in a second because he'll do anything to have Monkey and Rachel back. He moved to Hawaii for his daughter, he is doing anything to be around and if that means raising Stan's kid, he will do it. The question is what does Rachel want because we all know by now that she's not stable. Like you said, she is going back and forth ... and we also know a child does not going to repair a broken marriage, especially one like hers: Stan is always traveling, she's alone with 2 kids etc.

I really hope they don't bring the Rachel/Danny thing back, especially after how they handled it last season. Danny seems to think he's entitled to sleep with Rachel because he USED to be married to her and Rachel going back and forth from one man to the other is pretty pathetic. She's sleeping with two men and using no protection.
Danny's concern for Stan and staying with Rachel while she was having another mans child was just damage control, trying to put Danny in a better light. But nothing will change the fact that Danny had no issue with sleeping with Stans wife and running off with her.
Not sure why Scott's Dad would even be asking a question about this and hopefully he's not pushing to have them back together because he didn't like Dannys role as a cheater. If Rachel leaves Stan again and takes his child with her or if the baby ends up being Dannys, this would annoy me a lot more than anything Lori related.

@Amazingalex.....Yeah, I just don't want to count on anything until I see and/or hear from TPTB.
@Martinelli......I read that also on Spoiler TV, that Scott's dad asked PLenkov if Rachel and Danny were getting back together, (there was no indication of an answer to that either way in what I read), and he said he had an idea about a character. So I guess he will be playing that character he pitched and its not Danny's dad. I'm a little disappointed in that. But they left it open for Danny and Rachel. In the last episode Rachel did say she and Stan are only talking about the baby and avoiding talking about their problems. I guess we will see if there are any other hints on episode 2.15.

@zia..yeah I thought of that last night when I could not sleep. Not because of this but just was awake alot so had time to ponder. The spoiler is worded in a way that it is possible that chin does get fired and maybe for a few epis he has to work to get his job back. It does not necessarily mean the one who is in trouble leaves the show. So that is a possibility. Plus there is nothing indicating that LG is leaving so until then it could just be another season 2 epi just like all the others this season. For all we know they are adding her to the season 3 credits as we speak. SIGH.

The only reason you want Lori to stay is because she is beautiful! I think she needs to bring more to the show than beauty. There is already plenty of that on the show.
If the spoiler is correct and someone does lose their job then imo it's definitely Lori. No way will it be Chin, he is part of the core 4 and a very popular character. The whole reason Lori was put on the team was to keep them in line, so they wouldn't be causing any major instances and Lori certaintly hasn't been doing that. So it stands to reason that she would lose her job because of it.
On the other hand the Governor could just threaten her with losing her job and the rest may rally round and she gets another chance. I really hope this doesn't happen as I don't want to hear Steve or any of them saying how crucial she is to the team or words to that effect when she in reality she is pretty useless.

I think everyone is jumping the gun here. Chin is the one who will be in trouble in episode 2.16, but there is not any way they are getting rid of DDK. As Amazingalex said, I heard that they had signed a 7 year deal with each of the core 4. They will not pay any of them out for the next five yrs., nor would they want to get rid of Chin. Chin is a big part of H50's success. Lauren German is the only one who is not signed long term. Also, I do not see any indication that Lori would be in trouble with the governor, just Chin in episode 2.16. If Lori is leaving, its possible this is the start, but only a possibility. Lets not go overboard either way. If she is still here after 2.17 which would be the 4 episode extension that was rumored, then she is probably here for the rest of the season at least.

I forgot to mention also that the four of them all signed a seven year contract to stay on H50. I remember alex talking about that.
LG was only signed on for 13 epis and then extended for a few more. Again though we dont know yet if she is indeed leaving.

@lena...oh lena, you and me both. If she is gone after this epi I will private message you with the glee I will be feeling. There are more lori fans on here now so I am trying not to upset them too much. :)
@jeffrey...I would watch if one of the core left unless it was steve (alex o). He is H50 for me. Without him there is no show for me. But that would never happen. Danno is essential also and they just did a new promo with the original four so seems they are safe.

I think the Promo might be to appease the Core Four fans and not related to the Press Release,I think that they could be emphazing the ones that the fans like and try to please the masses with a popular video!

@Jeffrey...the new promo was created for a reason. To show us the new team. If there wasn't any change, no new promo would have been created. It is difficult for all of us I know. I am her fan too but what can we do?

Here is the reason none of the core 4 is leaving, $420,000.00. That is the minimum it would cost them in salary for 7 eps the lowest paid member of the team would not be in. They are all under contract at least till the end of this season.

I think of the (Core Four) the most expendable is Chin if there is such a thing I mean without Alex there is no show and without Danno well you don't have the bromance or bookem Danno, And with the furor over the fact that Kono had airtime,lines and action taken away I doubt it is her, but come on Chin probably has the least fanbase and I don't here many comments about him I think that the show could go on with Steve, Danny,Kono and Lori and not miss a beat IMHO! I know I'm probably reaching and wishfully thinking but it is my element of possibility!

@Jeffrey...if this character isn't Lori then explain the meaning of the new promo. Lori is the only member missing. I don't want to accept the truth either but unfortunately Lori is over. I'm so sad. Lauren is such a beautiful girl. All of as Jeffrey want beautiful girls on tv and I am pissed off like you. Unfortunately girls govern tv, not boys.

Ok I have seen both the promo and the press release and admit it does not look good and the end is near for Lori Weston, and I'm not happy as a fan I'm pissed about it, it sure looks like she is gone! But what if for the sake of argument that it is one of the (Core Four) will you guys still watch or be happy? I know that's not how it looks but it is a remote possibility!

@zeo .... I still stay in the penalty-box first I want that anyone from TPTB confirms it then I know for sure it's sad for the Lori character who was writing in so bad in the show but better for Hawaii Five-O back how it was last year!
@amazingalex... we a very alike LOL I'd be lying if I was not happy when we get the news it was Lori last episode then I can finally sit back and relax to watch my show how it was before!

@vincent miles...I disagree with you I think she will be just fine. She has a very long resume, in movies and tv. I think TPTB in Hollywood will see this simply as a role not suited for her. I could be wrong but think was her first role of this type and it didn't work for her, now she can return role she is more suited for.
If she is gone, and it's not official, I will be happy but I will not celebrate.

@vincent.. I just think sometimes a role is not the right one for someone. She is young and beautiful and has lots of roles under her belt according to her bio. All it takes is the right role. This is just the biz she chose. I would think you need to have a thick skin to make it in hollywood.

@amazingalex I believe that the petition and the way she leaves the show is a huge blow for her, a disaster. After a war like that it will be extremely difficult for her to recover. So no I don't think so. Her reputation has been damaged. I really hope I'm wrong. I love her.
