Am I the only one that feels sily for feeling like Ziva and considerng Pirates of the Caribbean to be a cinema classic? I am seriously considering starting to watch more classical movies just I can keep up with Tony´s constand references!
But Ziva will say no to Ray. The guy is an absolute duschbag and Ziva is not stupid. Plus, she considers Tony to be "in her life".
But I find it pity Enrique Murciano plays such a boring character as he was so brilliant on "Without a Trace" and he is an excellent actor. I was lookin really forward to seeing him on NCIS and I enjoy his presence there (despite his boring character).

That Stratton/Cole guy was certainly rocker by the end. Latham told him that everyone knew that he was the one who killed Cade and shot E.J. and Tony. What did he expect to accomplish by killing his boss and Tony and E.J.? Gibbs knew and SecNav knew. He wasn't so much tying up loose ends as he was adding more charges for his indictment and almost assuring a death penalty case.

Thanks for the recap. I absolutely LOVED it - best episode I've seen in a long time. Kudos to the actors, writers, producers, etc on their 200 episode milestone (and still with 20+ million viewers!). Great job!

This Stratton character makes me nervous I don't want to worry about Gibbs all summer in a bad way I want him to find some love and happiness like tony and ziva who should take it. Slow and pay attention to Gibbs rules but they should be togr
Ether soon I love the sexual tension there last night was great but stratton pissed me off I'm sure Gibbs will win but again abby will fall apart she can't go through that again sand best see it doesn't happen to any of them

A bit disappointed in the apparently-quick resolution to the Stratton angle, after waiting this long to have it brought up again. I like EJ a lot more now though, wouldn't mind seeing her again. And I like that it was her, of all people, who opened Tony's eyes about Ziva. Here's hoping they don't drag THAT out forever now. That closing scene was one of the most mature conversations those two have ever had, and I'd love to see it grow from there.

it was alright....but, i DON'T want TIVA...ziva does NOT respect tony as an agent or a man.....as someone else said: she knocked her injured partner down in season 6 and held a loaded gun to his chest....and i hope we don't need EJ or jeanne comming back either.

here what someone from EW said
"WHAT THE HECK ARE THEY DOING TO TONY???
And Gibbs for that matter, but I'll get to that in a sec.
They're turning him into average Joe which you find on any old show. All the layers and masks that Michael Weatherly has created and added to Tony over the years are all being stripped week after week. It's these masks that have always made Tony the most intriguing and multi-layered character on television. Tiva fans don't care about ANY of this. They've been bored to death with the development of Tony so far. All they're interested in is Ziva and Tiva. They've proved this with their constant complaining about being bored all the way through Tony's character development this season.

This episode certainly tied up the Phantom 8 storyline, but why? They could have done do much more with it yet they rushed it through. Hopefully others are right out there thinking that maybe it's not over yet.
Has anyone else noticed that Ziva has gone from kick ass ninja mossad chick to a basic training probie? Where have her skills gone? Several times in the last few episodes it seems she has lost her fight??? Maybe it's just me!
I really hope they don't put Tony and Ziva together or Ziva and Ray for that matter. Would ruin the show.
Great review!

Loved the show and hope Tony and Ziva get together. I'm also glad Vance was out of this one. They should write him out and replace him with character that is more than one dimensional.

I just can't see NCIS saying being in a abuse relationships is OK I mean it was not that long ago Ziva try to KILL Tony and not to mention beat him up and bring him down every chance she got and laugh at his pain

(sighs) this used to be a good show, but all the TIVA anvils are making my head ache. That is, when I'm not seething with rage that the show would even consider putting Tony with Ziva after she physically assaulted him in S6. (TPTB may forget Ziva's violent streak or play it for laughs, but it's no joke)

Wonderful review and yes, a major turning point indeed. Here's hoping that it is the first step of many towards Tony and Ziva actually being together. Stratton is a good villain and I believe he'll be back. This season just keeps getting better and better, it seems to be really thought out and I, for one, am loving it!

I loved the episode but I don't think we've seen the end of Scott Wolf's character he knows about Mexico....(dum dum dum dummmmmm). What I would really love to see is a three way tie-in story involving NCIS, NCIS LA and Hawaii 50 like they did with the three CSI show's. Now that would be a ratings killer for sure! I see a possible two way show involving NCIS LA and Hawaii 50 with Kensi's trips there and all the secrecy anyone else have any thoughts?

I hope Ziva accepts CIRay's proposal b/c I think it'll force Tony and Ziva to confront their feelings in a 'walking on egg shells' kinda way. With the upcoming Palmer nuptials, it would be fun to see where the writers take the story. And is Jeanne really gone? My imagination is telling me she could come back with a 3+ yr old son/daughter? Hmmm. And is Jarvis going to let DiNozzo go back to investigating when he's now a "Black Ops" agent? I think (hope) not. I'd like to see them ALL read into some Black Ops mission and watch the team go under cover to bring down a covert team. I see so many possibilities!

Last night's episode just had it all:
Comedy
Action
Awesome gunfight (That took longer than 10 seconds)
McAbby cuteness!
Gibbs being nice to Abby! Never gets old!
TIVA MOMENT!! (One of the best I must say! I woke up the entire house screaming EEEEEEEEEEEP!!)
5 stars out of 5 aren't just good enough! THIS episode was awesome!

Last night's episode was an edge of the seat thriller. I didn't want to watch parts but had to just to see what happened. I certainly hope Zeva does NOT accept CI Ray's proposal! NO WAY. I hope this goes on for a LOT more seasons and episodes and not break up now. Favorite show in our home, even the reruns!

Show is doing it right with Tiva.
I just hope they won't be so stupid and have Ziva say "yes" to Ray.
The dude went away for over half a year and didn't call her in 7 weeks (not even during the holidays). Ziva deserves better. Some nomad is not right and it would be a major mistake to have her say "yes". Ray and Ziva barely know each other in every day life. They are "guest-stars" in each others lives. Not a solid base to build a marriage onto. Also, a huge part of the fandom would be annoyed, angry and desperate. I doubt TPTB wants to send these vibes out there right before the 200th episode. So I am positive she'll say "no". I doubt she'll get together with Tony right away, but it will slowly develope and I am clearly looking forward to what's to come. Tony wants Ziva and now he has to man up and fight for her. It was clearly the best Tiva fan ever. Very intense, intimate and it felt just right. Great review.
This was a great episode. I disliked E.J. before, but she redeemed herself nicely. It'll be interesting to see how Tony and Ziva's relationship progresses now that he seems to be aware of his deeper feelings for her. I'm not a Tiva shipper, but I'm not opposed to them getting together either as long as they do it in a way that doesn't detract from the overall shows and who the characters are.

By no means is this show "jumping the shark". I could watch the team interface with one another another 9 years. The story-line possibilities are endless and even though Stratton was caught, it doesn't mean they'll be able to keep him. I suspect he has friends in high places...

The reason we called it Jumping The Shark is because it when the writers have given up on the show and want to end it and that why they are putting Tony and Ziva together

Wow, I loved last night's episode. It's always a treat to see a more serious Tony. Michael Weatherly must be one of the most underrated actors on TV. (And how come he's never done the voice for an animation movie - he'd be brilliant!) Wonderful UST between Tony and Ziva in that last scene. I don't understand why people jump up and scream 'Jump the shark' every time there's the least bit of UST between them. 'Conflict' is the basis for every drama. In this case, it doesn't mean Tony and Ziva will ever permanently hook up and I, like many others, probably wouldn't want that - but gosh, it's a heck of a lot of fun watching the sparks fly between them. They both sizzle in those understated, suggestive scenes where you're left wondering what's going on in both Tony's and Ziva's minds. They have a great chemistry!
