We were wrong. Parks and Recreation actually can get funnier.

Sources confirm to New York Magazine that Paul Rudd will guest star in at least one upcoming episode of the NBC sitcom as the candidate against whom Leslie will be running for office this spring.

The I Love You, Man/Role Models/Wanderlust star reportedly shot his scenes late last year and is likely to appear within the month.

Parks and Recreation, meanwhile, returns on Thursday with a new episode, one that will find Andy and April adopting a pet. It's already hilarious.
