Carrie Bradsahw is returning to the small screen. A younger version of Carrie Bradshaw, that is.

The CW has greenlighted a pilot based on The Carrie Diaries, Candace Bushnell's prequel to Sex and the City. The story will revolve around the character Sarah Jessica Parker made famous, setting her in senior year of high school in 1980s Mahattan.

Among others, Josh Schwartz, Stephanie Savage (Gossip Girl, Hart of Dixie) will produce the series, which ought to create major buzz surrounding the key question of: Who should play a teenage version of Carrie Bradshaw?

The network has also made official its pick-up of Arrow, based on The Green Arrow comic book; and announced an upcoming version of Beauty and the Beast that will reportedly add a procedural element to the classic fairy tale.

Which of these projects has you most excited?
