I have a question. How can this show be so good? Between all the action and drama, they always make time to develope real relationships, focus on characters with deep personalities and complex problems. Amazing.
Caroline is incredible. Of course Tyler loves her. Everyone loves her. Even Klaus took 10 minutes of his precious time to come and cure her. And to top that, he took 10 more minutes of his precious time to buy her the most beautiful bracelet ever and deliver it with handwritten note. How cute is that? If she doesn't wear it, I will be really really mad. Btw, I wonder if it was deliberate how Klaus' impeccable taste in jewellery made Tyler's bracelet look kind of... silly.
Matt was super sweet this week. Bonnie was annoying and useless as usual. Not only she failed to open the coffin, but also gave crap to Elena and ruin Caroline's birthday/funeral in the process.
Loved Damon and Alaric, nothing new about that. Stefan blew me away. Making Klaus back down? Impressive.

I am pretty sure that in the coffin lies the original Petrova. I think that Mikael used her blood for the transformation, but it could also be Esther, the original witch. Ah, the theories! We'll just have to wait and see. :)
Is it me or Klaus is starting to be less of a villan? I think he does what he does because he is desperate to reunite his long lost family. And what is up with that scene between him and Caroline? Do I sense a supernatural triangle? This is getting interesting...
Is it wrong to want Elena to become a vampire? It would sure be such an exciting turn of events :).
I like the fact that Bonnie is getting a storyline, I love her! I am also quite upset because the writers turned one of my favourite characters in the book, Meredith, into a total BITCH! But there might be some good in it, maybe we'll have a new villan and Klaus will help our favourite characters to get rid of her. Oh, the DRAMA!

i think that the person in the coffin is either the original doppelganger or the original witch,am not so sure about the original witch coz klaus and rebeka buried her when klaus killed her,rebekah said klaus helped her to bury the original witch,i don't think the original witch will come back coz it went against the balance of nature.I heard that at some point damon will be human again,even KW said it.

I am having a total epiphany to what you just said about the Vampire curse being reversed for someone. I would love for it to be Damon, but that is too easy. That makes Damon a better choice for Elena simply because of his humanity. That on top of the fact that Stefan is out of the picture, makes them too obvious of a couple. It would have everything to do with convenience and not the fact that she has chosen Damon. Maybe after a long drawn out romance between Damon and Elena, the curse will be reversed for STEFAN. He would be a regular man. This would throw Elena for such a loop and would make for some awesome love triangle tension. It would seem like she would naturally choose Stefan, but what if she loves Damon so much that she instead turns for him. It would be one gut wrenching, tear-jerking finale!! And then we would know that she chose Damon for Damon...

Klaus Klaus Klaus. How is it that suddenly we are all about Klaus? Well, I read an interview with Julie Plec stating that she loves him as a character and loves what he brings to the show. The only way to keep him is to humanize him enough to make him a witty menace, but not the ultimate villain. I feel like a new villain has to come in soon because for far too long it has been Klaus. We need something else to shutter about, wait for, and be knocked off our seats by. Something scarier than old school Klaus. I honestly like Klaus now. I would like to see something happen between him and Caroline. In this case, I am not sure if I want them to end up together or just have a fling of some sort. Didn't she get preggers in the books with a hybrid baby? hmmm. theres a thought.

Damn that was one fine episode. I loved the growth in all the characters and the fact that they all were letting things go in it. ELena and Caroline letting go of thier past and former selves. Stefan letting go of Elena and his self depracating.Damon letting go of Elena in a way..he's giving her space and allowing things to take time.Bonnie letting go of Jeremy, whose letting go of MF. Ugh. Just so beautiful. I love Ripper stefan, he was extreme but effective, he was like his brother, and that shocked even his brother (and made him proud in the end).Loved Damon.Actually this may be the first episode where I didn't find one character unlikeable.

Ok, here is my thoughts on the locked coffin. From reading the books and just trying to piece things together, I think that the coffin contains the original witch, Klaus' mother. It's locked by a spell, right? She is the one who cast the spell making them vampires, right? So, by logic can't she uncast the spell? I think she will be brought back to life and will reverse the "curse" and someone, will be human again. In the books, it happened to Damon. Wouldn't that be awesome!!

I definitely think that the person in the coffin is Klauses mother. She was, after all a member of his family and he would want her to stay in her coffin because she could ruin him. She made him into what he is and she could destroy him. She was not a vampire, but who knows, maybe something could be done to bring her back.
Another thing that has yet to surface is the original doppleganger. Katherine was the first one and Elena was the second. So, obviously there will be yet another Nina running around at some point and I am sure that she is either related to Klaus or was a part of the original curse that turned them. How else would her dopplegangers have anything to do with his hybrid curse?
Oh wow, I stayed away from the Delena/Stelena topic this time. It kind of makes me feel free inside.

None of us know what will happen in this show. Stelena could very well have a comeback, but to me, it just feels like she is falling deeper for Damon. In Pearl Harbor, a similar thing happened. She fell for Ben Affleck and then he "died" so she fell for his best friend. She always loved Affleck more, although she loved Josh Hartnett as well. In that case, I felt that the writers wanted us to feel that she would never love anyone like she loved Ben Affleck. In this, I feel differently. I feel like they started the show with one love and they are building a deeper love in the most unlikely place. I don't know how they are gonna spin it and I am certainly not the expert, but from watching many a teen drama in my life, it seems like they are hinting towards Delena for good. It would almost be inconsistent for them to not go in that direction. If they flip it, okay.. but right now, it seems like all of the Delena moments would be pointless writing if they were not "endgame"

Idk i just think damon could do better. Stefan and elena are Mopey and whiney and deserve each other. now that tyler and caroline are on the rocks they should try each other out again.

the stefan and elena scene made me cry.. i want them to put damon and elena together cause i think there better apart, the whole reason people think there hot is cause the tension.. and people who say stelena cant be together now.. he may not of driven of the bridge? so how is he worse than damon.. damon after everytime being saved by his brother trys or kisses elena.. kills people brother, pretty much raped and compelled caroline and andiee...
i just hope they end up together.. or he ends up with katherine who actually loved him more and was open about damon. unlike elena although she may not of kissed him not shes just as bad as damon for always being around him.. knowing where it will lead :|

I am not saying that I wanted Damon and Elena together from the beginning. I was not truly sold on Stefan and Elena because it was before the show became really intense and I was not drawn into their love story. It felt very quick and really did nothing for me at the time. However, as the show became more intense, I did start to care for their love story. In the meantime, Damon grew on me and his love for Elena grew on me. It seems as though it grew on HER too. I am not interested in fighting with anyone. I am more interested in discussing the show with other fans and making friends who want to talk about it. I don't care what the writers do, as long as it feels right to the viewers and is consistent. Right now, no matter how you slice it, they are setting up Damon and Elena as something huge and possibly infinite. If that changes, they better do it in a way that makes sense. Right now, what make sense is DELENA. I mean, are you people even watching the same show as me?
Although I think Klaus has some plan I liked the scene between him and Caroline.

This episode was perfect in many ways..You couldn`t make it better..Don`t know what to say..Damom and Elena at the beginning..and this complete different views.. him smiling and happy and next Elena dealing with her growing feelings for damon..Stefan is the perfect bad boy, and i`m not seeing him hurting Elena as a fault. Rememer when Damon told him that he wasn`t capable of doing bad things to get things better..Now he is.. And he did for good reasons. And I don`t think that he and Elena are totally over, even that i want Elena to be with Damon. And i think it is great work of the writers. If she really falls in love with Damon it has to be because she wants him more, not because old Stefan is not around.And i`m also happy about Damons Words at the end. It`s right. It`S just not right now. Perfect. Let`s don`t forget what Elena has to learn. Even that Damon and Stefan looks young, between those folks are over 150years of good and bad experiences..
why is it that DE fans believe everyone who doesn't like delena or said delena was forced is a stelena fan which is not true,there are alot of people that doesn't like delena and they are not SE fans,its even funny how they say Stelena fans are bias,well delena fans are bias too sometimes even morethan stelena fans,they don't care about everything stefan has done for damon and elena,they tend to tear stelena in every way possible saying things like stelena was based on lies,they have no chemistry,they are so bland blah blah blah and everytime is like this,thank god some of you don't write for this show if not stelena will be over since in season 1 and damon and elena would have been together since then and don't even start with the whole "they need build up" coz that's not true,majority of delena fans want delena to happen so bad since in S1,they don't care whether they have build up or not,they just want them to be together.

this is an amazing episode,my heart break when stefan told elena that he lost her the day he left with klaus,OMG i almost cried,i love the scene between klaus and caroline but honestly i don't buy them as a couple if that's where this show is going.i love almost everything about this episode especially the stelena scenes,it was really heart breaking but that's not the end of stelena to who ever is saying stelena is over,it has just began.
