Watch it be Stefan and Damon's father in that coffin and some how he is Klaus' father. He is the key between everything!
Also I almost cried out for Stefan.. I am sorry but Stelena are not over. It may be DE for now but to just drop their love and Elena not to give him another chance is not realistic. If she can forgive Damon she can forgive Stefan.

Even that my heart is totally and forever bumping for Damon and Elena i think the scene between Stefan and Elena was great. It betrayed so many emotions and i loved her for being so honest with him. And what she said was great.. "and it`s not like that i feel guilty for kissing him, it`s just that i feel guilty because you don`t know". Now the triangle is on. The seasons before, there was a Damon being devasted about Katherine and in the second there were Stefan and Elena as the couple and on the other side Damon wanting his brothers girl. Now we have poor Elena loving two adorable men

Well, for me it wouldn`t be a problem because i would always choose Damon, but for her. Even that all the Damon-Elena-fans maybe upset about it, but everything else than giving Stefan another chance wouldn`t be Elena. And don`t let us forget. She used to love this guy over the top. It won´t be realistic if she will swan to Damon without reflrecting this. I think it will be a tough season for these three, and i also think even that the episode looks like that Stefan and Elena are turning to be a couple again, i`m pretty sure she has real feelings for Damon and things between Stefan and Elena will never be the same again.. I also think the at the end of the episode "dangerous liasons" will end up in bed with somebody, maybe Katherine, because his hopes with Elena will totally dashed..So all we shippers have to wait what will happen, and isn`t it great..Elijah

If the producers didn't want us to romanticize the couples on the show then their wouldn't be any couples in the show. Also all the actors would be unattractive people with absolutely no chemistry. MMA is on Spike, TVD is a love story across the ages. Deal with it...

great episode. the moment damon showed the dagger to stefan i already got the feeling that elijah was ressurected. what made it fanatastic was i didn't expect elijah to wake up this early i was expecting about near the season finale..also, the scene wherein elena told stefan he kissed damon was fantastic once again. stefan's silence and his sucker punch on damon just goes to prove that he still loves elena. when i saw stefan went speechless i felt heartbroken.. i think the reason stefan is so mad at klaus is because one of the many things klaus took away from stefan was elena. the only question now is who will elena choose.
the coffin, what the hell is inside that freaking coffin? why is it so important? is it the original witch? i don't think it's the original doppelganger because what klaus is after is to reunite his family and the doppelganger is definitely not family. or is it klaus' girlfriend from centuries ago? LOL

Ok....where is Delena?!? I mean all of the seasons to date have been full of teenage love-struck Elena and her sugary sweet bf Stephan! Regardless of what the "endgame" is, doesn't Delena deserve a decent airing?!? If Damon wins her heart then it feels weird because it was all foreplay and no good stuff and if Stephan wins ... Well yuk! Haven't we seen enough of that to last us a lifetime! JMO

Forwood forever! I got the feeling that Bill knows that torturing Care involuntarily was a mistake. Damon's plan actually worked! Elijah better stay around for a while. Loved the Klaus/Damon scene. I agree about the plot holes.

I screamed with joy and freaking excitement when Elijah's body was shown. When I saw the dagger I figured it would probably be Bekah. BUT OMG!! I LOVE DANIEL GILLIES! HE IS SO FREAKING HOT! But umm Daniel, they give haircuts to people in coffins? lol . Way to go Damon!!! Pretty sure I rewound the dvr about 15 times just to see him on the screen. Great way to end the episode.
Hopefully he will be on team Stefan and Damon.
In other words, my heart broke when Stefan just stared there. Good way to show that he still cares! TEAM STELENA!

Amazing episode! I loved the scene where Elena told Stefan about the kiss and he just remained speechless. Also, the scene where Damon told Bonnie he and Elena kissed was pretty great - Damon was so charming (as always!)
The end just blew my mind. I kept thinking that most TV programs I regularly watch were kind of disappointing this year, but seeing Elijah at the end totally changed my mind! I truly let out an excited scream at that point. I think the next episodes will be fantastic, as this one set out some story lines for more development.

I actually yelled out "Fuck yeahhh" when Elijah showed up.... Yes he totally upstaged and outshined everyone...best 5 second ending in the shows history.

As for my two cents on who is inside the last coffin?
I'll use my insane logic:
1.) I don't think it's the original doppelganger (imaginary Charlotte Nobrev) as she's death was a necessary for the Mother Original Witch's spell to bind for Klaus's curse. I also wonder what did the original doppelganger do to deserve such a fate? Perhaps fall in love with two brothers?
2.) It's the original mother witch who even though was murdered by Klaus in a fit of rage for the binding spell was saved by a demand from Klaus to the original Bennett witch to bind her soul to the body?
3.) So lastly my two cents it is the original Bennett witch who can transverse with the other side where she talks with the original mother witch in creating a way to send Klaus to the next world?

A fair to solid episode for a sweeps episode. It was evident that this was a transition episode for the next two episode; especially episode 14 with the Klaus's dance party episode.
I think that being a sweeps episode, it was designed to setup the following events: a perhaps tragic or hoped evident with Tyler/Forwood, Klaus's need for family, Alaric fixation with Meredith and lastly a triangle with Damon/Elena & Stefan/Elena that actually exists and is %100 reciprocated.

a bonnie centered episode !. seriously !?.it seemed like a filler episode to me .i mean i really don't care about bonnie ,add to this , the whole mother thing was pretty sudden !,so the whole story line was boring .
The only good thing about this episode is that elijah is back !,the minute damon showed stephan the dagger ,i knew it and i was like finally !:)
also u gotta give caroline more scenes ,giving all that screen time to bonnie and (dr fell !!),and taking it from caroline is just annoying !.
next episode ,i really hope for more caroline ,also more klaus and elijah ..it sucks that we have to wait 2 weeks for the next episode !.

I have had the theory that. Its the original petrova from the get go. The only reason it wouldnt be is because its almost far to obvious...but if they dont care about that then it would make the most sense....also...the stefan elena scenes..and damon elena scenes...and stefan damon scenes this episode were just...epic and brilliantly written and acted. I felt elenas confusion, her love and her lust, stefans inner battle of trying to stop from feeling, but unable to control it when she heard elena kissed damon...and him punching damon at the end...ahh amazing...and damon and elenas flirtiness at the beginning...so good too.

Great episode. Loved the sexual tension between Rick and Meredith. Loved the Stefan and Elena and there epic love story. Even though they are going through a tough spot I love them so much. Loved Damon he is so funny. It is nice to have Damon with his one liners to break the serious parts. Loved everything to do with Bonnie she is the best. Tyler is not good enough for Caroline.

But Damon we have seen him care about both Rose and Andy and he fall in love with any, does he want to.. no.. but its easier to picture then Stefan with someone else. REGARDLESS I LOVE THIS SHOW.. I LOVE STEFAN.. I LOVE ELENA & I LOVE DAMON! the whole purpose is that its alove triangle and its finally starting to be a real storyline now.:)

But him hearing that the feelings Damon has for Elena could possibly be reciprocated by her was a wake up call for him. He realized that bc of his actions hes lost in her a way and he doesnt know if he can get her back. & I think he is going to resent Damon for it bc if it wasnt for Damon medeling as he always does (yes i know he was saving Caroline but still) Stefan would have never had to go to Klaus to help cure is brother and sacrafice himself for Damon. And to be honest I cant see Stefan with anyone but Elena and just wouldnt make sense not after everything hes done to be with her and the fact that this show did start off being narated by him it's kind of his story in a way.
