CBS can officially do no wrong: the number-one network on television enjoyed a surprisingly strong premiere from the abysmal sitcom Rob last night, winning the evening overall.

Elsewhere, it's only a matter of time before The Firm gets canceled by NBC...

Bones: 8.6 million
Wipeout: 7.1 million
30 Rock: 4.6 million/Parks and Recreation: 4.1 million
The Vampire Diaries: 2.8 million

Person of Interest: 14.7 million
Grey's Anatomy: 10.6 million
The Finder: 5.45 million
The Office: 5.9 million/Up All Night: 4.3 million

10 p.m.
The Mentalist: 13.4 million
Private Practice: 6.7 million
The Firm: 4.2 million
