David Morrissey Cast as The Governor on Season 3 of The Walking Dead
David Morrissey has signed on for a critical Walking Dead role.
The British actor will come on board season three of this AMC smash as The Governor, a nemesis of Rick's from Robert Kirkman's graphic novel. The Governor is leader of Woodbury, a small settlement of survivors that we'll meet next year.
Morrissey is a BAFTA Award nominee best known overseas for his work in State of Play and in movies such as The Reaping and The Other Boleyn Girl.
