The Dair interaction was gold and I loved that Serena stuck up for Chuck. I also liked that Dan finally stood up for himself and of course Eleanor was a BAMF. But I don't see much else for the rest of the season.
Blair is as stupid as ever. It doesn't even make sense as to why she called Dan of all people. Her dads are lawyers who could probably come up with some loophole in the contract and get her an annulment, various people at the wedding have access to private jets which would ensure a stellar getaway etc. etc. The storyline was just used to give Dair fans some candy which has been happening this whole season. Plotline, logic and common sense are ignored in order to deliver some meaningless ship teases. It annoys the hell out of me.

Loved the dair scenes. I am so so SO bored and tired of Chair scenes. I have been a faithful watcher of GG, and a former supporter of Chair. I find Dan and Blair to be the fun, refreshing and romantic couple that the show needs. I think the writers took a story that was developing and treated it like real life. Relationships evolve, and I think I like where the DAIR one is going.

I am a Chair shipper, but a boy can only get shot down so many times. It's not even heartbreaking anymore, just plain ol' stupid.

The Chair scene was heartbreaking. I really love the fact that Chuck would do anything for Blair. This dowry storyline is ridiculous. Another stupid reason to keep Chair apart but I'm kind of getting used to it and so I wasn't disappointed. I think that Dan sent the blast although it wasn't confirmed. And I think that Chuck will be the one who will do something great in order to help Blair out of her marriage.

The episode was okay. I liked the Dair friendship. I enjoyed watching them fight. It was great to see that Dan defended himself for once. And I liked that Blair apologized to Dan for the way she was treating him. It's sad that the writers are planning to destroy this friendship by turning it into a romantic relationship. But we all know by now that the writers are really great at destroying relationships and friendships on the show. I felt sorry for Serena in that episode. She took the blame for sending the video although she didn't do it to give chuck and blair a chance to be together. I love that both Serena and Eleanor are chair shippers.

Dair scenes at the airport were entertaining (Blair trying to find an outfit :D)
Why GG stopped posting after the accident? Interesting. Maybe she/he felt guilty... I think Dan is GG.
So Georgina is the new GG. I wonder who sent the video. (Georgina? Dan?)
Why are the writers doing this to Chair? :'(

I am a hardcore CHAIR fan, and even though I LOVE them and can wait for them to get together, I do like Dair. They are pretty hilarious and you get to see a side of Blair that you don't get to see when she's with Chuck. I thought the episode was funny, but also so irritating that they keeping putting up all these road blocks to make B stay with Louis. I really felt bad for Chuck - he looked so heart broken. I also hate that they made B. such a wimpy little victim. I was hoping that at the end of the episode she was going to turn the tables on the prince and his momma & we would get to see a return of S1/S2 Blair that was a power player and not such a victim. That's what I really want to see - not Chuck or Dan rescuing her from Louis, but Blair rescuing herself.

My heart broke for Chuck during the end scene with Blair. I agree that it's enough already of the are they or aren't they. If they are going to be, I would like for them to be together and us viewers have a chance to see them happy in episodes before the show comes to an end(whenever that might be). I'm getting more frustrated with the show as the weeks go on.

Wow, sorry for all the comments! I forgot to ask @puppybunny1, how are Blair and Serena NOT being selfish? Serena is being typical Serena, flaky and selfish (but I understand her pain). Meanwhile Blair has reached new heights of self-absorption. It was painful to hear her be all "me, me, me" and treat Dan like her whipping boy in that motel scene. I let out a cheer when Dan told her to shove it and then peaced out. Last season I could understand why Dan was attracted to Blair but now? Chuck and Dan should move on. Preferably with each other. And Nate. Yum. I miss our bromances.

I am a Dair mainly because of the chemistry between the two and also because the if Blair was a friend of mine I would tell her to run as fast as she could from the hot mess that is Chuck. For me he has done too much and the reform is too little too late. However I realise that Chair is end game, so I will just enjoy the Dair moments like I enjoy ice cream knowing its gonna end soon. On a separate note Leighton and Penn should do a movie or something together cos they have amazing chemistry!

This is what they started doing to the One Tree Hill actors when it was time to get them off the air. The show was getting stupid and it was a waste for the actors.
I did however like the comment Chuck made about the dowrey.
I think Dan and Blair should be together. Serena really needs to learn the world does not revolve around her. And please put Rufus back in his jeans. Thank you.

I don't think Dan sent the video either. GG always reveals some "twist" in the last 5 secs of an ep. to reel viewers in and then it turns out to be a misdirection. I'd go with the Eleanor theory. She is desperate to help Blair. She went to Chuck, asked Serena if B is happy and is willing to sell off all her assets. I'll hate it if it's Dan but nobody does OOC writing like GG.
Blair said her marital arrangement was "only for a year". Will there be a Louis take down or are they going to drag him into a 6th season that shouldn't even exist?

I stopped after 5.08 and just caught up. The show got worse? Watching eps back to back make it more evident that Chair are having the same convo but with a new unbelievable obstacle.It's fill in the blank writing. Torturous! They've killed off my interest and I was still for them up until 5.06ish. Progress the story or END IT! Liked the Dair scenes but the situations that surround them are nuts and Blair is unlikable. What is going on with her? D/C/S's motivations are singular but make sense, B's don't. There was a lot left to explore with these characters and yet NOTHING!Maybe Safran wants GG cancelled. Looks like hardcore shippers and fans who can't let go are the only watching.

I love how Blair and Serena are growing up and acting not selfishly. This is a better episode than the overhyped 100th episode about the wedding.

I did like Serena trying to cover for Chuck- acting sisterly for once! It's about time. That and both of the girls pointing out the utter lack of respect Dan has for their friendship were the two highlights. The rest of it? Bored now.
You say you are all for a good triangle, but the unfortunate thing for Dan is that there is clearly no real competition. Even if they were to date, he is so clearly 2nd (or 3rd) choice...he shouldn't want to.

don't really like the ep. i don't think dan and blair will ever be together because blair is aware of serena's feelings for than and aside from chuck serena is one of the most important person in her life and it doesn't seem to me that she'll have relationship with dan because serena will be hurt.
also from the promo serena said that true love is just a myth so i guess she's probably moving on but you can't really blame her if she still feels hurt at times. if you put yourself in serena's shoes wherein the one you love ,loves someone else of course it going to hurt.

None of those characters match up, GG has nothing on GWTW, the writers can try as hard as they want to make these comparisons, it just only makes them look more and more pathetic.
